noooo! i just got this game a month ago and had to pay 100 bucks to get it cause it was discontinued. oh well. will make use of the codes available though.

>:D >:D >:D

Metroid Trilogy has those hacks now, I've used them all pretty easilly :3 should be able to find it using regular code downloader or the code database.
Also, if you paid $100 you were ripped lol I got it at gamestop for $78.89 X3

Oh... Is yours "floaty jump" style? As in, you can jump crazy high? As opposed to TNTkryzt's, which is "hold B to go up".
Okay. I understand now.

By the way, I don't suppose you could try your hand at making a hyper beam code for MP1 and/or MP2...? (I tried and failed.)

It's possible, someones done it on the gamecube version of the games. not that I can do it X_X but eh, wouldn't it just be a matter of making the game think that samus is standing in the 'hypermode' pools of phason in the final boss arena, possibly via a surface roller code that you toggle on/off with a button activator? Maybe just find a way to make that version of samus's coding (The hypermode samus) replace regular samus's object data or something XD sorry just trying to help :D

I tried by playing up to the Wave Beam and seeing what data changed when I switched beams. As I said, I didn't get anywhere.
There are complete saves on GameFAQs, so I'll grab one of those and try stepping in and out of the Phazon pools. (I don't know when I can, though, I've got more pressing things to do first.)

Yeah I figured that might(Only cause I have no knawlage nor the means to try it myself) help out in finding the "hypermode activation" variables, cause even I can tell that the game actually 'loads/activates' that "mode" wiithout the help of hacking when samus's new suit makes contact with that particular 'instance' of phason. Since obviously it won't happen in 'normal' instances of phason, by which I mean "instance" = the unique type of the phason 'object' in the game's coding that contains said variables that loads/activates the "hypermode"

The game itself says that the suit is able to "enter" a hypermode when in the presense of certain kinds of phason which is stupidly only found in the final boss arena(damn nintendo for making stupid enhancements like that when there's technically phason everywhere!) at the end of the final boss. So yeah, that's the reason for my theory, again I really wish I could help out more than this :D

My only other suggestion that could help would be to use an activation button that's not used in game, like the down key on the pluss pad for instance.
PS: if it sounds like I'm trying to sound smart XD I'm not, I just like to use big words sometimes :P

Hey umm I have a bit of a problem. When I run metroid 1 and 2 with cheats they all work fine. But when I try to run metroid prime 3 in trilogy it freezes on the game loading screen. (the one displayed before you actually start the game.) and my wii remote won't respond along with me eventually having to turn off my wii to reset it.  ???

godagarah

actually the left and right buttons on the wiimote d-pad are not used because the the up button is used for screenshots and the down key is used for missles!! ;D

That still doesn't help my problem  :'(

That's because he wasn't talking to you.

You're using the codes with activators, correct? And only activating them in-game?
What I do is only enable the codes for the game I'm going to play. That way, there's no chance of crashing the game (with incompatible codes, that is).
I'm also using the GXFlush hook, but I don't know if that's relevant to what you're doing.

Um The codes do have activators, but it doesn't make it past the 'game loading' icon. I mean the one just before the opening cinimatic starts when you play it. And yes, I use GXFlush and only the codes for the game I'm playing at that time. Maybe I'll try it with the Wii hook and see if that gets anything done?

I think he was referring to an earlier comment lol I do remember saying the bottom left and right on the pluss padd were useless...
EDIT: and yes, I don't even have time to press anything on the wii-mote before it freezes.

zfan121

GRRR I wish people were still hacking this game :3 Though I do hope the person I was speaking with is at least trying for the hypermode code in metroid one

Also in some points in the game, I can't move on with the have all accessories code. Maybe someone could have a seperate have all key items code(if the other two games are involved, things like energy tanks, chozo artifacts etc) set aside for that?

zfan121

Hey, I know nobody wants to give a shit anymore, but incase someone does and would like to try.

Press Left and Right on D pad to change weapon types: (like the old metroid prime games, I miss that feature :(  )
Have fusion suit unlocked left on the d pad + pluss to toggle on and off: could be done with texture hack so u could do it in all three games.
Z+C + left to transform into ZSS in all three games, press again to toggle off/on.
