So I want to know what I would need to do use WIIRD cheats/hacks on my gamecube games on my Wii.
I have: a 4.2U softmodded Wii
Homebrew Channel
Gecko OS(pretty sure its the newest one)
the actual gamecube AR memory card
Original Gamecube games
SD cards
USB Storage devices
other non-important stuff, etc

I do not have a USB Gecko

So yeah, thats what I have, I just wanna use codes for Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Chao stuff and really don't wanna spend $30 on a new AR just for the disc. So halp plx?

Oh, one other quick question, nobody has to answer it but it would be appreciated. Can you use Gecko OS/Wiird codes on back-up Wii games?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also have a non-modded Gamecube.

GeckoOS Mod will allow using codes on GameCube games without a USB Gecko.  (And WiiRd codes can be used on backup games, but that isn't officially supported by this forum and is best discussed elsewhere.)

After some frustration, determination and a little bit of experimenting,I have figured out that I can get a hook for gamecube games from Action Replays (M) code. But I dont know what to do when I get a code like the following,it looks like multiple hooks...

C4348274 0000FF01
C432E1D0 0000FF02
0D3031F8 80010014
C53031F8 0001FF03

Normally I would drop the C4 part and replace with 80 and pull it up in dissasembly view and right click and hook...and Voila....game is hooked and I can start hacking...
No matter where you go...there you are...

Ok, I have a WODE Jukebox so that takes care of my "disk", and I have this mod of Gecko OS. It SAYS applying codes when I launch a game, (only tried Super Mario Sunshine so far) but it either does nothing or hangs for 5 minutes on the intro then gives me a disk read error. Is it possible to load ANY codes this way or any other way without needing to buy a USB Gecko?

is it a back up because if it is you need ether nerogamma lancher and i like putting hook type to vi

Yeah... I did say I have a WODE. :P I'm always able to launch games from the disk channel so I should only need Gecko...

What version of Gecko do you have?

The latest. 9.31 I think. But that's not the one I'm using. The one I'm using as I said is a custom build and therfor versionless.

I don't think I can be of any help; all I can say is try Gecko 1.9.

I done the whole converted process for GCN AR codes to WiiRD, but I don't know why every time I try, Gecko won't even bother to looking for my codes, or at least say "No SD codes found"; Does anybody know why this is happening?

You're using GeckoOS Mod, correct?  As opposed to the official Gecko?  Only GeckoOS Mod can do GameCube games.

Also, you're using Internal mode, not MIOS or External, correct?
