SilverXy7

Your welcome, I hope for the best too, and I don't own a USB Gecko, and I don't really understand the AP app.

SilverXy7

That's kinda funny I just got done watching that video right before you post. I'm gonna try that out are you too?

YF191

yes... lol the only thing i cannot get to work is the MIOSpatch... do you have any idea about those... this seems like a realy fun and easy way to hack gamecube

SilverXy7

It wont let me install the wad thing, and patch just stays as a black screen...too but its very easy hack.

YF191

are you kidding me....... all i get is the black screen to. i posted something about it but i have no responses yet. it is in the help section

Well, you're unfortunately doing it wrong (we hope that it'll be possible some day in the future).

The main problem is: Gecko OS comes in 2 versions: one Gamecube version and one Wii version. The Wii version can handle SD cheats or USB Gecko cheats for Wii games, the Gamecube version can only apply USB Gecko cheats.

The Wii version can launch Gamecube games, that's about it. It cannot apply cheats to them.
Hopefully some version in the future is able to handle that but no promises can be made.

If you find codes that aren't on GeckoCodes.org, you can manually add them to accio hacks. (the next version this should be built in and easier to do)

http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Accio_Hacks#Adding_codes_from_outside_the_app

(if you're on a windows computer, use wordpad instead of notepad for editing the txt file)

If there's a reason you specifically don't want to use Accio Hacks, please let me know so I can improve it.
Thanks

no accio hacks is really good...... i just didnt know i could add new codes. Do you run accio hacks?
