USB Gecko works on GameCube.
USB Gecko contains WiiRD.
Thus, WiiRD can be used to hack GCN codes.

Just make sure not to access Wii memory areas (90000000 to 93800000) in GC mode.. and it should work just fine!

Yes, but WiiRD's loading time is sooo large isn't it compatible with the Crazy Mod?

To hack anything with WiiRD you need USB Gecko.

I don't know if/how to hack GCN codes using it yet.

Myto~

I get that message when i try to load up a gamecube game with WiiRD and Gecko OS, i have a usb gecko, but it wont run the GC game why?

1. USB Gecko is the device which is inserted into Slot B of the Wii
2. WiiRD is the software you need to run on your pc/laptop to search for cheats as well as  other features you can access.
3. WiiRD requires to be connected to the USB Gecko via USB cable which is included with your purchase of a USB Gecko - otherwise how is WiiRD going to search for cheats? I can tell you right now WiiRd will not even start and will keep giving you a message that it cannot detect a USB Gecko.
4. WiiRD and USB Gecko can search and use Gamecube and Wii game codes

Are you running Gecko OS (GC version) by using a method of Gamecube Homebrew? Using any method of Wii Homebrew will not work. SD Media Launcher or a Modchip are your choices for Gamecube Homebrew. There are other options as well, such as SDload (Old Action Replay + SD Memory Card Adapter needed) and PSOload, but those most likely will not work on a Wii (one due to firmware; PSOload only works on a Gamecube).

I would get the SD Media Launcher, as it works on firmwares 3.2 and below on the Wii. I'm not sure if it works on 3.3 however.

EDIT: Forgot one important detail, SD Media Launcher is a product of Datel, and can be obtained at:

http://codejunkies.com/

Just navigate to the Gamecube page, they sell them without a SD card ($19.99USD), with a 1gb SD card, and a 2gb SD card.
Currently "retired" from hacking codes.
