Yeah I tried it out and realized you must've meant blank. It would've been awesome to have a black talisman though XD. However, you can equip "No Equipment". There's "No Equipment" for each Equip type and "-----" is an item. I got that item from a poorly designed custom quest. I left it there for completion purposes. I guess I should add a warning like "use at your own risk" if you make something that's possibly illegal. Nah. Too much work. I'll just put a banner that say's "You better know what your doing!" XD

The arena pouch and pouch items don't work. I didn't code them yet and I'm thinking about combining them into one option since they're similar codes. But I want to find a pointer to the pouch since there probably is a pointer. The pouch is different in quest and out of quest and even more different in arena. And then P2 has a pouch too. So before coding those, I want to see if I can find a pointer and just make a P1/P2 pouch code.

/\ If you mean that, that's for the weapon mod codes, which I don't think works in PAL and needs to be ported. Those are temporary codes and you need to have the weapon to use the code. That modifies the weapon's stats. You want to go to Equip Box->GS->Iron Blade and put the slot you want it in. The weapon mod code section will only output the name of what would've been the code if you leave everything blank.

Here's an example of it in action:

I can't remember if I've posted here or just PM'd asterisk_rocks.

Custom arena quests. I really want custom offline arena quests including Deviljho, Agnaktor and more.
How? I don't want to replace Rathian with Jho like many have. I want to replace Rathian with Jho, and replace the weapons, armors and pouch items.
Possible? Asterisk said no, but I just saw a YouTube video where they replaced rathian with Jho, replaced equipment, and freed up the dragonator for use.

Stuff

Not possible yet. We(not rocks) know what arena equip looks like. It's not in quest03.bin. So it's probably somewhere else which we need to find. However, the last time we spoke, I wasn't in a hacking mood and ended the conversation that could've lead to finding the arena equip. XD. It'll be possible in the future.

That is you right? xD
I'm finding this thread very interesting and helpful. If I do something like, 10% Blos, will that break the size limit? :s
I don't want a 200cm Blos in my hunters notes. I already have gold crown small, what will it do?

Stuff

Yeah that's me. Use riivolution and redirect your save. Changing the size will affect your record size.

How can I rip MH3's ISO? My Wii is 4.3e, and I put usb loader gx on my SD/homebrew channel, and it doesn't work. 4.3 stopped it. I was following this tutorial for CQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3GBI1J1G70&feature=youtube_gdata_player
It has no alternative of ripping the ISO. I checked out dumpmii or something, but it wasn't in the browser and I couldn't find a DL link.

so I have tried out the restriction remover code by Bully. The thing is that it pumped up my HR 117 character to 999. And I don't want this. I just wanted to go on rookie server. Help would be appreciated.

its in there ..use my quest codes to break on and get the true Quest section ..
it will be just below the enemys stuff ..

also u can use the gUi quest mod to change stuff in the files .. and then compare them
ud just have to match up one of my quest offsets tot he file and then u have every offset u ever need in the game :P by using that Program :P

Stuff

nah. It's not in quest03.bin. It's right after the minion section in memory, but not in quest03.bin. It's probably in a different file. I think the supply box was in a different file too, but there's no editor for that yet(I think).

so there's this codeHunter Ranking Modifier [Bully@Wiiplaza]
4A000000 90000000
140E4350 XXXXXXXX
120E4354 0000YYYY
E0000000 80008000
*XXXX = Experience in HEX*
*YYYY = Level in HEX*
*Attention: You will get banned if your ranking is low and your equipment is rare*

Does the amount of the exp matter if I only used Bully's restriction remover v1 code? Because I'm not sure if my exp changed and if so, then can I simply set any amount of exp with HR 117 and will the game correct it for itself?
My goal is to set my character back to HR 117

Stuff

If you remember the exp, put it in. You can remove that line I think and the game would adjust the exp. I could be wrong, though. I didn't answer before cuz we don't speak of online codes. I also don't understand how the restriction remover would do that. The code has nothing to do with changing HR.

Hope that helps. Also, don't enter the rookie server. The reason I went in rookie at low HR was because I didn't want to be carried through quests in HR equipment. Don't be annoying.

ATTN Stuff: My attempt at being helpful.

I tried making Jhen barrel on a 2nd character on which I hack (offline only), and it gave me chaos wing. Error with your generator? I can't remember which slot, it was slot 678 or something.

4A000000 90000000
140E2F84 0C00000F
E0000000 80008000

^That was generated from your site for slot 700.

4A000000 90000000
140E2624 0C000010
E0000000 80008000

^Here's what it should be.
000F = Chaos Wing.
0010 = Jhen Cannon.

Tim the tester to the top!

Stuff

Oh! I thought I fixed that. >.< Yeah I mixed barrels and frames up. My bad. I was wondering why I couldn't make a dummy barrel.

Actually, I had all 3 mixed up. Frames were stocks, barrels were frames, and stocks were barrels. It would've been a greater issue later when I add bowgun modding. It must've been my LUT list. I'll have to fix that later. I probably have names and descriptions wrong for those too. >.<.

I renamed the files, so it should be fixed now.

lol yup. It was my LUT list:
Bowgun Frames
00 = No Equipment: You don't have anything
equipped.
01 = Light Bowgun: This ultra-light Stock
features a quick reload
speed. A popular choice.
02 = Medium Bowgun: A mid-weight Stock with a
lightning-fast reload speed.
Simple and easy to use.
03 = Heavy Bowgun: Heavy, but supports a wider
variety of ammo types. For
more experienced Gunners.
04 = Aquamatic "Needler": An odd Stock that may once
have been a full Bowgun Kit.
Works well enough in combat.
05 = Royal Launcher: The sponge on the body makes
this Stock comfy to hold.
Take it on underwater hunts!
06 = Thundacrus: A stable Stock crafted from
Lagiacrus materials, which
allow for more firepower.
07 = Thundacrus Rex: A slightly tweaked Stock
made from only the finest
Lagiacrus materials.

uses Rathalos materials of
superior quality.

Barioth materials. Much,
much lighter than it looks.

More reliable than it looks,
thankfully.
0D = Diablazooka: This Stock uses the tail of
Diablos, but is just as
powerful as the rest of him.
0E = Agnablaster: Resembles an Agnaktor taking
a dip in lava. It's still a
bit warm to the touch.
0F = Chaos Wing: A Stock of ill portent,
whose owners are said to
disappear without warning...
10 = Jhen Cannon: A stately Stock made of
Jhen Mohran materials.
It is surprisingly light.
11 = Aquamatic "Spark": A Light Bowgun Kit. Parts
can't be changed, but it
has special qualities.
12 = Aquamatic "Longshot": A Medium Bowgun Kit. Parts
can't be changed, but it has

I can't believe I never noticed. That's what I made that txt for.

Also thanks. I would've never fixed it cuz I thought that was over.
