Just wanted to post my bug report:

The "All Goddess Cubes/Chests Open" code also happens to give you the trial stone, and possibly some other quest items, and inhibits your progress totally (I enabled it before going to Faron and the Kikwi weren't there at all).

I suspect its the other line I added because someone said that one cube was left unactivated. But I suppose we could do with that just one cube left as is. So, the code goes back to this

edit: I've just further tested my cubes code. That code is not what changed your gear&collection menu progress. you probably may have used my current sword modifier or 'have everything' which do cause progress interference. but i specifically mention that they do. =P

If you know what bit that cube is you could use an OR (you need to use Gecko registers so it two lines long.)

No, it was your code, or at least your code on top of others I had.  I didn't do it with ONLY that code, but I did eliminate ONLY that code from the list I was using and have it not happen, and when I enabled it again with only the single line you provided here, the chests were opened successfully and I didn't get Fi telling me I got the Trial Stone as soon as I started playing.  And, I've now gotten to the Deep Forest (on a new save, no less...).  So SOMETHING about your code was screwy, even if it wasn't by itself.

EDIT:  I am playing on Hero Mode right now, if that makes any difference.

i see. well, the problem must be a hero mode thing because on a regular save file, the two line code does not give the trial stone.

i suppose we still can leave just that one cube left unactivated at least until i figure out what cube that is to which i'd then have to fix using sputnit262's advice

Is there any way to convert this code to a Non-ASM code for Dolphin?

First, Dolphin has extremely limited support for retail discs.  While we don't outright ban talk about Dolphin, we generally frown on people asking us to convert a bunch of codes for a bunch of games over and over again.

The best option is to go to the Dolphin forums and convince the developers to offer full support for all Gecko code types.  Riivolution drops the code handler binary into memory and writes a hook; there's no reason Dolphin couldn't do the same.

That code uses a variety of code types; C2, 28, 86, 4E, 94, and some variations on those types.  Even if you make the C2 code the "old way", I'm not sure Dolphin supports the rest of the code types (in particular, 4E).

It really is a pain in the ass for hackers to write their codes more than once for so many different games.  If the Dolphin devs would just support the full code handler, EVERYONE would be happy.

Okay so I was using the Instant Text Code, Disable Fi Shield/Battery/Heart reminder (3 codes), and no notification on first pickup. For a few hours I had game breaking glitch (not the updated one) fix on, but then removed when I realized it fixes it only if you have it. The point is I can't get past the door in Eldin when you lose your gear, the barrel isn't there and the Mogma won't come. Also if I go to Eldin before I get the song, I still am blown by the wind and stuck. Can anyone help?

Change the two 15 values at the end of each of the lines to 04 on the old glitch fix code, then save your game with the code on, then reset the game without the code.

I tested the Skip Any Cutscene code quickly just now (main code ive been waiting for) doesnt seem to be working. COuld just be cause it was the intro and thats unskippable but i couldnt be bothered watching the whole thing again adn trying to skip another cutscene. Anyone know if this works?
