@Thomas83Lin

First, I'd just like to thank you and everyone else contributing codes, excellent work!! Now here's my issue, I used your No Weapon Ammo Usage code before you removed it and it also gave me infinite small keys. Before I realized that however, I saved and now I have a small key left over when I enter the sand ship. Would you happen to have the address for just small keys? I'd like to set it to zero and save my game so I can get rid of that extra key. Thanks in advance :)
Yea my new revised ammo codes don't effect nothing but the ammo, but my old one did I'm sorry to say i don't have the address for the keys
I'm actually using the revised codes now and they work great. How about this, would there be anyway to modify the original code to remove the key? Thanks again.
Nah that wouldn't work, hmm if you really want it removed just upload me your save, and i'll be able to make you a code to remove it.

Thomas83lin di you think there is any way to correct my mistake by removing the learned song (song of the hero) from my save? i cant learn the first part because i learned by third by mistake. and levias is caught in a cycle where i have to fight him over and over again.

You can try this but no guarantee's use the code, then save your game. than start game without the code, I'm not sure if it will fix your save or not, but its worth a try.

First Backup your Save just in-case it makes it worse.

Remove all of Song of Hero's

idk yo. what happened to you was weird. But you get levias' part after you get the other 3, not before. I never tried going back to the thunderhead after speaking with him, so idk. Maybe he gets repossessed until you get the other 3 songs. Try to get the other 2 parts first and then come back to levias. He might just fix himself.

But I didn't move anywhere yet, so I guess I can upload my save...But your gonna miss out on some not so great puzzles. :p. The desert one was nice, though.

please upload your save im going to try the code and see what happens, but i cant get the other dragons to talk to me about the song so i figure i need to talk to levias first.

Are there code for Digging mini game? I want a piece of heart but keep getting bomb instead.

There is no piece of heart from that game.

Reading talk of a GC control hack has made me really excited! I actually started writing down a GC controller layout just for the fun of it in case a code is made for it since before I read about it. Maybe I'll play the game less frequently now so I can play more of the game with the code if it will come to fruitation! :)

Well, I was planning on adding some conversions I made to the list but they're already there. Oh well, maybe next time.

Anyways, I actually have a request. Now I'm not even sure if this is possible but there are some pretty talented people on here and I figure it never hurts to ask. If anyone has the time and ability to, I would greatly appreciate a Classic Controller (Pro) enable code. I actually think the sword directional swings should be mapped to the right thumbstick, just makes sense to me. Anyway, I don't wanna sound picky about the button layout or anything but the more flexible, the better. I think most everyone would be happy with a similar mapping to what OoT and Majora's use on the VC. Like I said, I don't even if this is possible or not nor do I expect anything from my request but you'd be making people like me very happy. Thanks at the least for reading my request! :)

Actually I don't think mapping the sword slashes to the C stick (right thumb stick for Pro) is the best option. Because SS sword swinging is not 1:1 motion and in fact is the same as TPs sword mechanic, I think a better solution would be to map all the sword animations to the B button + joystick direction. My thoughts:
B=thrust
Up + B=slash down to up
Right+B= Left to right slash
etc..

Basically, the joystick direction indicates the direction of the slash. Right is right slash, right down is right down slash, down is a down slash etc. The C stick while the sword is out can be used to move the sword around to solve the eye puzzles and to activate the skyward charge if held completely up. The C stick w/o the sword out can be used as a camera or something else. Just my thoughts.

And it would be great if pressing B (w/ or w/o a direction) when the sword is unequipted would perform the slash like in the N64 games. No need to have that middle man "take out sword" animation first IMO.

And I second the notion of a text speed mod.

You guys make this game bearable to play. Thank you :D

Well no dice on the remove song of heros code it removed them all right but  looks like the game has checks to mark progress and it is still messed up. thanks thomas83lin for the help. Stuff please if you would upload your save game!!!

Really? I read that you get one for collecting all the rupees. I was trying to make sense out of the game actually, hoping to make a small guide similar to the map they have for nsmbw's card flipping game. I even found a sweet spot, I think. There hasn't been a bomb there at all so far.

The circled one. This was expert. I stopped after about 20 tries though, and I didn't get a repeat...I was at least hoping that the bomb's positions would have a pattern and for you to be able to determine what to dig next by the color of that first rupee and then finally you could tell where the bombs are..But prove me wrong. Show me a snapshot of you losing in that space.

But yeah. The heart piece thing kind of made me want a never fail code at least. I'm missing 2 heart pieces(I think) and that was gonna be the last place I was gonna check(after I get 3/4). But if your saying you have all of them...then I guess I'll just have to go up to that guy and wiggle my wiimote like I can actually kill him.

@Xargon321: I'll pm you sometime after wake up or something.

You might be onto something there. My initial request was just that, initial. I never intended on what I suggested to be a final outline for the mod. Simply a spur of the moment idea mostly. Personally, I like your ideas too but still feel we haven't come up a perfected idea. I know for a fact this idea is solid and once a decent layout is thought of, it think it could really work well. I really suggest that if this code gets made, it should probably be easily modifiable, if possible of course. I'm already able to see that everyone seems to have a different idea for the buttons should be remapped. I think if it's customizable, more people will be drawn to it. Just my opinion though.

I really like the idea to possibly create both this Classic Controller (Pro) add on code and a similar Gamecube controller add on code.

I also like the thought for a mirror image code like GC/Wii TP had. Very cool idea.

Shutting up the annoying dying batteries message is a high request of mine. I mean the system shows the battery level I don't need the game whining too. The other shut off annoying message codes are fantastic ideas. Think they tried a little too hard to bring that Navi feeling back in this game. Haha.

EDIT: The text speed mod NEEDS to happen. I overlooked this request twice now and kept forgetting to add a vote to it. A good chunk of the game has overly lengthy dialogue, even for most of the mini games and it is just absurd at times how long it takes to scroll through the mindless babble for some of the NPCs. Being able to more quickly zip through it NEEDS to happen. Yet another thing that I can't believe was overlooked by the devs.

I like how you've used the word "bearable" there. I actually do find this game unbearable at times.

Anyway, another JP->US port:

1 Hit Kill [ukuneko] ("Home" on/off, default:off)
28599D0C 00008000
0402FCDC 7C601B78
CC000000 00000000
0402FCDC 5760043E
E0000000 80008000

The game sometimes freezes on me when I have multiple codes on, and I'm not entirely sure what's causing it, but I think it's likely one of the constant write codes writing to an address when the game expects something else. Among the codes I had on was this:

always fly at boost ring speed [wiiztec]
28599D0C BFFF4000
82200005 80AF1E9C
86A00005 3F700000
84200005 80AF1E9C
28599D0D BFFF0000
26AF1E9C 43480000
04AF1E9C 43480000
E0000000 80008000
hold C to slow down

80AF1E9C sometimes holds a pointer, sometimes it's 00000000, etc. I'm not sure how safe it is to overwrite 00000000 when not in flight mode... Maybe the game never reads it, but maybe it does sometimes... if it does, then "26AF1E9C 43480000" is insufficient. I think it'd be safer to replace that with the check used in hetoan2's Infinite Flight Charge code, "2083AD7C 3804FFFF"... maybe the number of crashes can be reduced then.

Since I like wiiztec's flight code so much, I took the liberty to slightly modify it so I can control the speed better:

Hold "C,Up" to speed up, hold "C,B" to slow down, hold "C,B,Up" to advance ever so slightly
82200005 80AF1E9C
28599D0C BBFF4400
86A00005 3F000000
28599D0D BFF74008
86900005 41200000
4A001005 00000000
DE000000 43484353
80000005 43480000
E0000000 80008000
84200005 80AF1E9C

Also inspired by wiiztec's bomb blows up on command code, I ported ukuneko's Bomb No explosion and combined them:

Bombs explode on command (toggle "1,2" to enble/disable, "A,Up" to detonate)
04259BA0 38030000
28599D0C 00000808
04259BA0 38000000
28599D0D 00000300
CC000000 00000000
04259BA0 3803FFFF
E0000000 80008000
*When enabled, bombs don't explode unless detonated. Default is disabled.

This is not true at all SS is 1:1 until you swing fast then it goes into 1 of 8 canned animations based on the last 1:1 direction of your sword, TP has no directional control of slashes at all and just plays a canned animation sequence when you shake the wiimote

I've played the whole game with the code as it is now and it never crashed a less than 43480000 check is sufficient, I am aware that the address sometimes holds a pointer that was ther very reason it crashed upon arriving at the pirate hideout before I added that check to the code, regarding your suggestion that I use hetoan2's sanity check, I don't really know what you mean his check is for his code it would not work with mine
If there's any code at all that you want to be button activated, or even able to toggle on & off, and I have the game, just PM me and I'll make it happen
