Thanks for those other codes ZiT.  I'd like to request:

Max or Infinite AP
Infinite HP for the other 2 party characters
EXP multiplier
Instant Chain attack gauge max

And if possible, no/instant cooldown on skills.

ZiT has just added Infinite HP for the whole party.

Personally, I'm waiting for MAX EXP because I'm stuck at an insane boss battle right now. My party is at lvl 61, the boss is lvl 66, I have the MAX STR/QKN/E.PWR/ETC turned on but 99.9% of all my attacks keep on missing. I noticed that if you try to fight any monsters 10+ lvls above you will 99.9% miss them all the time so I can only assume that for Bosses if you're 5+ lvls below them that you will always 99.9% miss. When the boss spawns his minions, I have no problem hitting them and killing them since their a 2-3 lvls above my party's lvl only, I just can't hit the boss for the life of me. I guess it's time to stop playing until someone can find and add the EXP codes. Thank You ZiT for all your very hard work.

How did you get your status codes to work?  I'm looking at the stats screen and it looks like nothing has changed.  So I'm assuming it doesn't work.

Also, I seem to have found some codes from various 2ch posters which I'll translate here, credits go to them:

EXP multiplier
040C0B08 1F44xxxx
xxxx= 0002(2x)/0004(4x)/0008(8x)/0010(16x)/0020(32x)/0040(64x)/0080(128x) or basically any decimal number changed to hex

AP multiplier
040C0B0C 1F65xxxx
Hex is the same as above

Talent Gauge Max, which I assume means instant chain attack gauge
0417A960 D17F17F0
0417C128 60000000
0417C0E0 60000000
0417C104 60000000

All Character Status MAX
04178CBC 3B60270F
04178CC0 3B40270F
04178CC4 3B20270F
04178CE8 3A40270F
0417AE8C 3800270F
0417AE9C 3800270F

And thanks for fixing those status codes, ZiT, I'll test them later.

10?!  Try 6!  That's exactly what happened during my fight against Telesia.  I had to go back and get 1 or 2 more levels before I started hitting it.

10 lvls or less for normal mobs on the map, which is not even normal to begin with, at level 60+ they have 40-65k each. Even though I do 1.5-3k a hit using the skills at max current level and it still takes just as long if not longer to kill mobs when you're higher level because of the insane hp they have on top of their crazy skill damage they deal as normal mobs. If ZiT hadn't been working on gecko codes for this game I would of gave up a long while ago, it's like the people who made this game made it so that no matter how hard you leveled up, you're gonna get the crap beaten out of you no matter what.

Also thanks for ZiT for the MAX EXP code and Status code fix.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I don't know how Zit Does it, hacking codes for so many games unless it's not just 1 person but a big team of caffeinated, sleep deprived coders, ha ha.  shocked

EDIT:  So there's a translation project for XB going on at gbatemp:

http://gbatemp.net/t276731-xenoblade-menu-translation?

Can any of you super hackers help them out please please please?  They need more space to put in the translated text and finding all the cutscene dialogue and stuff.

Also:

I see there's already useful codes for stats/xp modification but is it possible to make a code that puts the "extra" characters (Mumca / Dixon / Alviss / classic Fiorung) in your party?  Doesn't matter if their equipment can be removed or not (they all have gems that make them unkillable) although it would be cool.

Thanks in advance!

The game is going state side if you're not aware.

Well, the game is missing in action for a very long time.It is not illogical to assume that the localization is canceled... Cry

Considering it is an RPG and is probably ridiculously text heavy (I haven't played it so I don't know), it'll take a while to translate it anyway.

It's been TBA since it was announced for Japan, there's still no date and at this point it doesn't look like it'll ever make it over.

Anyways the guys at gbatemp have done a pretty decent amount of stuff so far, menu-wise it's quite playable except for some annoyances w/character limits.

And the request for codes to play the guest characters is still valid Tongue

To be honest though... the game looks kind of ugly (graphically) Hahaha. Especially compared to the original Xenosaga games. But I might considering getting it in Japanese at some point... like when it doesn't cost 90 bucks to ship over here.

Actually other than the character models using really low-rez textures it's a very beautiful game, you should give it a shot.

For the translation part, you could always unpack the iso, use a hexeditor (Such as PSPad), view the japanese text, machine translate then proof-read, edit the text in the file, hit save, re-pack and play.
