cuz it's not on the db and I never thought of it as important enough to google it. If you want to dupe rare4+ items, you might as well use the item box mod codes. Or infinite items. If you just want to give someone ceadeus gems, a)they might just discard it, b)if they want it so bad, they should just hack their wii and use the item box mod/infinite items. The trade rare4+ code would be cool though. But I never had reason to "must have" it. I guess if arena gives rare4+ supplies you would want to trade, it might be useful.

what about setting a RBP onto the item´s memory address and analysing the branches/calculations there how the game decides to allow trading or not.
Maybe it´s only one branch that needs to always branch and it´s good.

I was gonna do that. I was thinking the item pouch, but there's nothing on rarity there, iirc. It wouldn't be hard at all, but I'm not at home so I can't do this now.

Well I think the check is done on your end. See how the menu greys out if your selecting a rare4+? When receiving, there is no menu. I remember there was a dude in the US giving away ceadeus gems. I didn't get one though >.>. Maybe he was lying.. A lot of checks are done only in 1 end. I can't find the list of items so the code isn't gonna come from me. Sucks, though. Cuz that would've meant item mod codes like the weapon and armor ones. :( Who doesn't want to wide range everything?

Didn't test it, but c'mon. I know it works. I've never seen anything past FF, I don't want to know what happens if you put more than 7FFF(8000 = -32768, 7FFF = 32767). Doesn't work with rapidfire shots for some reason, btw.

i made a code with a button activator, which lets you bypass the part where you have to press on "give item"
you just go on a rar 4+ item to the out-greyed give-item-menu and press the button activator and then it works like choosing "give" with rar 1-3 items.
you can give it but others cant take it... I dont know if it will work if you make a code which makes that out greyed part to normal, but I dont think that it will work. and maybe its better if it wont work, because there are already so much cheaters helping non cheaters with quests and if they could give any item to everyone, everyone would get everything without questing. but the important thing: cheaters with a code like that could ban people lower than hr51 by giving them items like Conqueror's Seal and let them forge and equip weapons/armor which they shouldnt have yet...
maybe it sounds a bit funny but it would be really mean to make a non-cheater get banned like that

ah. good to know. You were able to bypass the give item option and they weren't able to receive. There's obviously a check when receiving, then. So a give any item code can't exist without the other end having cheats as well. And what's the point then? Just fill our box if your gonna cheat items.

I didn't look at it that way. It definitely would suck to be banned because someone gave you a earth dragon gem and you were able to make ceadeus+. XD. Your absolutely right. I still want to know where items' stats are, though.

YYYY is how many shots it shoots during the rapidfire. For example:

04287AC4 3B000002 shoots 3 shots similar to elemental rapidfire(2 additional shots)
04287AC4 3B000003 shoots 4 shots similar to element rapidfire + bonus shot
04287AC4 3B000004 shoots 5 shots similar to...nothing. But it's the rapidfire animation and it shoots 5 shots.

The most I've done is 04287AC4 3B0000FF and it lasted forever. 256 shot rapidfire animation. idk how far you can go with this code. maybe 7FFF. But who know's. Maybe 8000+ isn't negative. note that 7FFF= 32767. Why you even want to shoot that much at once is beyond me.

Another thing worth noting, recoil is maximum. So after your rapidfire animation, your gonna slide back as if you were shooting clust lvl3 with recoil-2 and a "increased" stock. Unless your shooting element shots(not dragon) since they don't have recoil.

the rare 4+ doesn't exist since the receiver can't accept rare4+.

Could you explain how you arrived at the beginning of the actual "give" branch? I was looking at it a little while ago, but I couldn't seem to find the beginning of the actual branch. I could only find the part responsible for the menu...

There seems to be some sort of an items table starting @ offset 0x8088B030, with B. Bomb S being the first entry, followed by B. Bomb L, etc. Each item takes up 16 bytes, the first 4 bytes correspond to the "buy" price, the second 4 bytes to the "sell" price, I'm not sure what the other values are. I'd swapped the last 8 bytes between 2 items, but didn't notice any difference...

idk who Amadeus is XD. Did he give you a ceadeus gem? Like I said, some dude was trying to tell me he was giving away ceadeus gems, but never gave me one. A random cheater is what he was. He probably didn't know the difference between a activator and a terminator. >.>
And Shad says he made a code to bypass the greyed give option and the other player couldn't receive it. So if you can't receive, there's no point in them trying to give. There would have to be a give rare4+ code and a receive rare4 code, and for that, you can just fill your box/pouch with the desired item that you can't normally trade. With the duping exploit, you can't trade more than rare3, so it's a legit method of duplicating items without cheats. But if your gonna cheat to dupe rare4+ items, your already cheating...might as well cheat instead.

what with the rapidfire √x? You asked for rapidfire and I ported the code that exists in the US. Enable the code and shoot any bullet. It's what you wanted, I think. You use hex for the rapidfire number.

But it might be already checking if r0 is a rare > 4(0=rare1) Then if not, it'll copy r27 to r3 for god knows what and then branch to 802a6514 where it does some stuff. But you say r3=1 for givable items..so blt- can't happen for tradable items...idk. I'll check it out just for the hell of it. Well, more like check this table of items. XD


Also, I think Shad might've just found the menu and some numbers that change when you go into the menu and made a code to write to the address and go into the give menu. I tried that before to try and look at my messages while I was in a quest, but I made the game freeze. :p. And my Map attached to HUD is like that sort of. When the HUD is displayed, tuen the map option to on, otherwise turn it off.

8088B030 is US or EU? I don't see anything in either.nvm. I see it. It's 20 bytes per item. Sweet. You rule, man. This is gonna be so much fun to decipher.

trying to make sense out of these, See the not so much of a pattern? throwing knives, poison throw knives, sleep, para. What this means to me? Nothing. Except maybe items starting with 27 are throw items. Then you have 19 items that can be chugged. But what about tranq knife? what can these possibly mean? We might never know. Rarity doesn't seem to be here. :/

maybe it's possible to remove recoil from rapidfire with a code. Idk where to look though.
