I can't get Activate Felyne Exchanger Code to work. Help? I've set everything up, the correct joker address, activation number, and skill which is 1B for exchanger, but when I go into quest, I press 1, which is 0200, and nothing happens, help?

*merge*

Never mind, I've snooped around this topic and found my answers xD

Turns out I've been people saying it doesn't work most of the time. Is there an alternate code?
Gecko OS 1.9.1.3(I think thats that version)

Codes for that exist already. Just use the search function.

Hello, I've managed to be able to mod my weapons.
I've chosen to have Tenebra D with purple sharpness. 1000 attack, 1000 element(dragon)
and I managed to get it to do paralysis damage.
Can I use the Element/status modifier code more than once so that my modded sword can do more than 1 type of element/status?

TheGiefCat

I'm having a problem here. I currently have these codes enabled:

Display Monster Info Hook Map
MID Display Changeable(Wiimote+Nunchuck)
1 HP Enemy(Set to Z+C on Wiimote)
Regular HP Enemy(Set to Z+Up on Wiimote)

The problem is, when I start up MHTri, my wiimote doesn't work. The light is on, but none of the buttons do anything including the home menu button. What could cause this?

EDIT: I tried using fixed info display as well, both with and without c-pad support, and it still made me wiimote not work.

Because you're supposed to set the button activators on the D-Pad not any other buttons.

Actually, I switched the 1HP to C+Up and Reg HP to C+Down and they work. Its just the MID Display Changeable one makes my wiimote freeze.

Then that was your problem ;D I don't know much about MID codes, but I do remember seeing something about button activators, It must've been the MID. Just keep testing the codes with different hook types. The one I use that works for most codes is the OSSleepthread.

No. You'd be writing a different value to the same address. The best thing that could happen is you'll get the status/element that you put in last.

I wanted to change the buttons to zL and A cuz just A is annoying. So I figured I'd change the red to FFDB0024 but then the code doesn't work at all when I do that. Now that I have a gecko, I checked the address 8065942A, and pressing zL and A gives me 00240000. So I was right. Why I can't change the button activator!! >.< I think this was doudley's code.

Yeah, I was able to activate 2 different effects (dragon and para :D)
The moon jump I use isn't a moon jump, it's just a real jump at will code because it allows me to jump exactly whenever I want. I wanted To use the moon jump like in a video made by PETERPANh4x. I'll try to use that tomorrow. The hex in red address, I'll try to change that into a button activator code, different from the one I use.

Oh, and here is your good moon jump code for your classic controller (I hope it's this, I still can't try it out myself cause it's late and can't play right now XD):

Seriously, Mh3's gecko site needs updating. Some codes don't work, and some codes don't work like its suppossed to, like the moonjump. I had to find a different moon jump code >.>

Ok, so I'm trying to change the highlighted part so the attack base will be 500, but when i enter it as 000001F4, I get an attack higher than 500 >.<

Is there a formula i should know on how to get desired weapon attack bases?

Yeah. I like this moonjump better cuz it's just a jump. That's why I called it goodmoonjump. XD
It works without changing anything. Just...try and scroll through your items to the right or ask for cool drinks during a quest. >.<
I'll try your changes tomorrow and hope it works. The other one is more of a superman than a jump code.

And you can have an element and a status(I thought the game would explode, though), but not 2 elements or 2 statuses since there's only one address for each.

Weapon class multipliers are as follows:

Bowgun: 1.2
SnS: 1.4
Lance: 2.3
Longsword: 3.3
Greatsword: 4.8
Hammer: 5.2
Switch Axe: 5.4
The reason these multipliers exist is because no reason. I think it's retarded. Seriously, the damage formula would be so much simpler without these multipliers. The real attack power is whatever is displayed in game divided by it's class multiplier. So you want to put 000000DC (220). This'll get you 506 attack. To keep things clean, I'd rather use a number that would result in a integer. That's why I said 506. I wouldn't want to know what'll happen if you put 00DB instead. Basically, divide what you want by it's class multiplier.

Edit:
Ok I had to test it. >.< It works. But you gave me player2's controller. lol. I had to change that. Dunno if it would work anyway. I was scared to change the controller part. Why wouldn't it work with the other controller digits? Well thanks, man. This code combined with the cancel camera zoom code and felyne lander skill, is the greatest code ever. So much fun to be had. There's no reason for the second portion. I can just change the red to the wiimote buttons if I wanted. That's 5 lines of code saved right there. And the mask doesn't really work, but whatever.

And yeah. That db needs to get updated. Off codes would be a nice addition.

Oh, I knew how to use the formula before I even knew about hacking in MH3, although, I thought the desired attack base would completely override the formula, guess not :/

Why are the starting hex digits FF6F? I'm only used to using "0000" and then the next 4 hex digits are the activators.
Oh, and I remember seeing a thread, probably in another forum, on how to make on/off switch codes, don't remember though. I'll try searching for it.
In the mean time enjoy this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csNqf_L8WD8  of a midget fallowing a fat guy :D

This shows how to make on/off toggles. I'm still a hacking newbie so i don't know much of the vocabulary listed there :/
