Hey every one. I have a small question. These codes give max elemental resistance:

Max Fire [Skiller]
04270D04 EC00082A

Max Water [Skiller]
04270D44 EC00082A

Max Thunder [Skiller]
04270D84 EC00082A

Max Dragon [Skiller]
04270DC4 EC00082A

Max Ice [Skiller]
04270E04 EC00082A

If say, I just wanted them to give 25 all resistances, what would change? Or is there already a code as such?

2 things:

1. Elemental resistance is EXTREAMLY worthless in the game, so you're better off with the "add to defense" code.

2. You might need to change the EC00082A to something, but I'm not sure since that's a different coding I have yet not messed with.

Stuff

Those codes are weird. I tried to use EC000829, and it gave me -99 res. The default on that address is EC00F82A, so I guess you can turn it off with that. XD

But idk. The game froze when I used EC000823, so I stopped trying to understand it. But if you ask me, resistance is pretty important. bnahabra armor isn't exactly great for rathalos. You can live through anything else, but fire attacks will ohko you. >.< It's just that armors don't really get massive resistance to be a noticeable benefit. And the resistance skills are garbage.

No, resistance defense is the co-dominance, meaning it helps add a little or subtract to armor, of the armor defense, and even if you have high resistance, it won't make a huge difference because the resistance ONLY protects against blight, so If you get hit by a fireball with bahnahbrah armor, you'll probably get like -1 to -3 in overall armor defense, not to mention banahbrah has s*** defense to begin with. The only thing keeping you alive is your armor defense, not the resistance defense.

Let's say you are naked and you have 1,000+ resistance in fire, it only protects against blight, and not the damage of the fire ball, meaning you would die.

Now let's say you have full Helios+ armor with -1,000 dragon, if you get charged by Alatreon, you would only lose 1/5 of your health and have high Dragon blight. Why? Because your max armor defense would be 431,  and your Resistance is -1,000.

Armor defense > Resistance Defense

plus, i think there is a code that negates all blights.

Hi, I would like to request offline custom quests with Alatreaon, Deviljho and Jhen.

Codes for that exist already. Just use the search function.

Sorry for asking again, I still have problem getting this to work and I need help.

I used the following code so I can fight Alatreaon offline, but the game crashed at the quest loading screen.  What am I doing wrong?  I picked at least 5 hunt quests but game always crashed.

Boss/s Mod [Skiller]
043AEB7C 38000018

I also would like to set the Alatreon's level to match the online version, what is the number I need to plug in using the following code?

Set Boss/s Level to [Skiller]
043AEBB4 380000??

Thanks in advance for helping.

Arudo

I have no idea what Alatreon's online level is... and the thing with fighting any of the online bosses offline is that the game will not load the stage that belong to properly.

You can get 'custom' quests made from other sources that will allow you to go kill Alat/Jhen, however it is possible to hunt Jho offline only because he can appear anywhere he wants. The only problem with that is that he will override whatever 'boss' monster you're supposed to kill and the only way to keep whatever you carved from him is to purposely fail the mission.

Oh? Failed to read the rules? You're already dead.

RRD

Alatreon's online level is 52 (that's what the Custom Quest Editor and HP Display show, but you probably need to write it in hex). Event Alatreon (the one with 15,000 HP, “Where Gods Fear to Tread”) uses another level but I don't remember which one.

But I think it would be easier for you to use the Custom Quest Editor and replace some offline quests by the online quests you'd like to play offline. This little app allows you to import/export quests and edit settings. Then just load the modified offline quest list file with Riivolution.

Stuff

idk if doudley is still around to fix this for me, but here goes. I tried making this for a friend. Mine works fine for classic controller. But this wiimote one causes some weird bug where the wimote won't work with the nunchuk attached. But of course, you need the nunchuck attached. >.> At first I thought it might be the target selector because I was using the old one, so I took it off and it worked fine. But then I put the new target selector, and it's still causes that bug. If you ask me, that's more reason to get a classic controller. XD

Latest gecko OS and I also use the built in cheat option in cfg usbloader. Even Riivolution works with the classic controller.

changeable colors[/spoiler]

Also, I noticed the changeable colors have switches. I was gonna ask why there is a second activator for each direction since the switch should handle that, BUT doing this made MID not work XD:
286593E8 00005004
017C4FFA 0000000E
CC000000 00000001
017C4FFA 00000002
E0000000 80009000

That would've been a whole 2 lines saved but then the code didn't show too much. The first monster on the list was a lvl0 nothing with 0/0 on everything but hp(no hp) And then changing colors from the second up color to the down colors was bootleg. my second up was black for example, and I'd change around with my down colors red and blue, and if I switch to blue, I end up getting black unless I hold the button combo. lol.

I guess it wasn't a very helpful observation since the code won't work properly if I try to fix it. Maybe I did something wrong though. Maybe if I change the switch's default to 0.

eek!  That's not a proper terminator!

E0000000 80009000 <--- wrong!

E0000000 80008000 <--- correct!

---

The second button activator after the switch prevents the stuff after the switch from running when the buttons aren't pressed.  The stuff after a CC switch will always run if the switch is on, regardless of the button activator before it.

Also, the button activator address looks odd.  Usually button activator addresses end with 2 or A, maybe 6 or E.

Stuff

Oh wow. I didn't even notice that. I just copied it code from the database or the post it was in and changed the buttons. I never had any issues with it yet, but I can see some funky errors happening in the future if I used codes that used pointers. Thanks for that heads up.

I guess 2 lines aren't gonna be saved :/
The button activator address is the same one listed here. It's worked fine for everything so far.

I was hoping that fixing the terminator would solve the wiimote problem. But of course it didn't. XD

Also, how would you turn it off? The default value was 00, so if setting it to 00 makes it infinite, you can't just set it to 00. >.<

MID? They should be working fine. It worked for me at the village. Unless the person was ( Sorry mods!) using them online,  one of them should be working fine.

Oh and, those lines you mentioned, I'm going to infer they remove the barrier when you place the maximum of items of bombs and traps.
And again, I'm going to infer, you must at least set it to "01" because "00" is infinite, while "01" is one quantum in which you can place whatever the hack was, and lose the quantum. I don't think you can turn it "off", just set it to the lowest quantum because 00's place is taken, so in order to "turn it off", you gotta set the xx to the lowest Real Number, and it will revert back to max = 2 bombs, one trap.

Stuff

No. I used that MID to see the bug. This is Doudley's custom MID v1. And it's for offline use. "Nobody" knows how to make it for online ;). It just makes the wiimote unusable with the nunchuck attached. But then the game asks you to attach a nunchuck. >.< It doesn't make sense.

The bombs and traps are 00 by default because that's a counter of how many you've set. When you set 1 bomb, You'll see 01 there and when you set 2, 02, and the game won't allow you to set anymore. The code seem to hold 00 in that address so you can set bombs until the counter reaches 02 or traps until it reaches 01, which would be never. So idk what to do there. making the code end with 00000001 would just hold 1 there so you can set 1 more lbb but it'll never increase, so you can set one more forever. Maybe if I give it activators the code will only work temporary. Allowing me to set 2 more until I press it again. Cuz I did notice the gestures code would make you stuck doing that gesture without an activator. I'll experiment later.

An activator does do the magic for bombs and traps. But now it's corny with the activator cuz you gotta press it every 2 bombs.

E0000000 80008000

I don't see any reason to hide this for the world.
Just hit them once and begin to wonder why you bothered copying my code.
If you want more(idk why you even need 3) just add B18 to all the addresses. For example: 9014CCFE + B18 = 9014D816. Do that to all of 3 lines and you have the next one.

Figuring out what the highest possible trigger value was too much work imo, so I just threw a big number there. Maybe it'll bug someone enough for them to fix it with a more appropriate value, but it works anyway.

Thanks to asteriskrocks(some dude) for the idea and many thanks to RRD for pointing me in the right direction(address range and what to search for). Now tell me if it's the same for PAL. >.<[/spoiler]

Regarding your Rage Mode, you can spare people the effort of calculating addresses using some Gecko Register code types.  Replace QQQ with the number of the monster you want in Rage mode, starting with 0 = first monster.

You might also want to try an 08 slider code type.  Not sure why you need an if code with this, though.

Stuff

I haven't gotten up to gecko registers yet. >.< But I really like what you did there. Thanks for that. Now I learned something new. I don't think I can do a slider for rage cuz of the if. But that's also new to me.

The if needs to be there because the monster won't rage if the timer(9014C1E8) is anything but 0. And monsters don't start in rage mode either :/. So it's there so that the timer stays at 0 until you hit them. Then the timer goes in a inifinite loop. The if can check for anything as long as it's less than what's being written to the address and is a possible number.

Ok. So I came back with another code:

[spoiler=monster hp]1st monster set hp to 7777(1E61) at 1/30 of a second after quest start
206C587C 00015F8F
42000000 90000000
0414C0E4 00001E61
0414C0E0 00001E61
E0000000 80008000[/spoiler]But now I'm gonna try to use the gecko registers just cuz it's better. The B18 rule still applies. So yeah. And it sounds like we like pointers, so I'll do that too.

I used a slider instead cuz it's better. And the if is triggered at quest start. I think I did it right. The red would be how many monsters you want to be affected, 0 being the first one. This one needed an if because otherwise, the monster would have infinite hp. It would keep writing 7777 to it's current hp. Changing the max hp wasn't enough. They would start the quest with their default hp remaining. For example, I went on "Fell the Lagiacrus" with the code to modify just his max hp, and his hp looked like "3500ish/7777" So RRD suggested to do a "if quest starts then write to both" and that works. But here's the gecko register one in case you want to change each slot manually.

I found wiimote button digits for when you have the classic controller. They work for activators, but they're a little weird. They activate like your using a turbo controller. Maybe that was just action repeater. >.> And the analog sticks too. But the analog had 2 really different addresses. One did some simple up, down, left, right and the other seems to handle sensitivity. But the second one takes up like DE-E5. It's near to the classic controller address. I saved some notes some where... I'll find it later. I think the wiimote and the analog are really important.

Anyway, I found those while looking for the camera. I couldn't find the camera -_-. Anyone have any idea where that's at? I was gonna make a "d-pad doesn't control the camera" code but I have no idea how to search for it. I see there's cancel camera zoom, so I thought that might help, but nope.

Another thing I wanted to make was a "max heal" code. Also for monsters >.>. But idk how to take the value from one address and put it in another. 9014C0E0 is the current hp and 9014C0E4 is the max hp. 32 bits each.
