Download Experimental ---> http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,4886.new.html#new

If there's any code at all that you want to be button activated, or even able to toggle on & off, and I have the game, just PM me and I'll make it happen

No pointer search and dumbed down breakpoint tab? I'll pass

READ THE README!!!!!!!!!

a) If you look at the readme.. I clearly pointed out why pointer search is NOT GOING to be a part of it.. if it comes.. it will be an external application for good reasons. Internal pointer search has the following disadvantages:
 1) WiiRd locks up.. you can't do other searches.. the program is essentially blocked especially when you do pointer in pointer searches
 2) If your Wii is not running.. even if you have the dumps then you can't do searches although there is literally no reason why it should.. as you do not need any Wii connection for the pointer search
b) Breakpoint tab: look at the instruction: it is easy to implement the features which are currently dopped.. in fact: at core level they even exist.. I just TEMPORARILY did not add them as I for myself haven't really used them yet.. if you think they are required.. they will come back
c) Have you ever heard the term BETA?
I need beta tests. Is it stable? Are the features in there working.. I won't add functionality unless all other functionality works!

Many thanks for providing us with this new tool and for sharing the source codes as well. I will try to use this (in addition to wiird GUI) and let you know if I have any feedback or questions.

Cheers.

After looking in the source, it looks like libftdi isn't fully implemented yet; I'm fine with waiting for it though, as long as the Linux version becomes available in the future. Too bad C# isn't my language of choice, otherwise I'd try and implement it completely myself.

Still, nice work and I hope to see more releases too. Smiley

I have no need for other searches while I'm doing a pointer search what I do have need for is reduced clutter and having a seperate poiner search application adds to that problem

reducing clutter is not always most efficient...

suit yourself. I still love you Link Cheesy GeckodotNET is way better in my opinion already (despite still being in beta) and it only has a few issues left so its all good. The things it does include make up so much more and compensate for everything it lost (which really isn't gone).

yeah thanks for your efforts Link

Is it possible to comment out individual lines of codes like wiird used to do?

At the moment a code is on or off via the check-box, i cant disable certain lines of the code

Admittedly, no that's not possible yet, I have certain troubles with .NET components so far when it would come to such a feature.. I am trying to do something like that though.. would you be happy enough if I made it with a commenting system like you proposed:

meaning:

01234567 89ABCDEF <-- active code
- 01234567 89ABCDEF <-- inactive (notice the minus!)

that would be simple to make and might serve the purpose already!

yeah perfect

maybe keep the standard JS/C# way and use // to comment out a line?

e.g.

20214378 00000300
048FD8DC 00000000
// CC000000 00000000
// 048FD8DC 00000001
E0000000 80008000

Or a string the user specifies? Cheesy
Or just a dropdown-box with some predefined comment strings.
Or any character that is not 0-9 A-F.

Just my thoughts Tongue

Well, I checked its sources.. its code input parser is well.. written to be ultra-fair.. meaning: no matter how you enter the codes it will always extract only 0-9 and A-F sequences and checks if it collected an amount which is a multiple of 8.. so I can easily add other signs..

What I'll do: when you type in - or / within a code - then it will mean that the line it is in is deactivated.. when you click a code again.. it will most likely use the // syntax to demonstrate a deactivated line.. but yeah when entering codes.. it's very polite and basically accepts everything!
