I found a way to get back to the island with the volcano:) Pick the Star Burning Tide, go to the star on top of the volcano once you get launched go to the pink star (the one the hungry luma turned into) once you are on the next island go to the little place to the left of where you land with the silver star. once there transform into flying mario/luigi and you can fly back!:irule::rockband::clap

or you could just go past the lava planets, take the star to the lava, and fly back.. or just fly up really high until you go over a the wall...

I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal on getting back to the volcano.... it's actually real simple.

oh right, i actually remember those now! ;p oh well thx for taking the time to prove me wrong. and also whoever thought there was a planet hidden in the volcano definitely did not beat the game, cuz you're in there like 5 times.

I beat the game with both Mario AND Luigi, AND got 242, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Alright, I've made an AMAZING discovery.

I was doing the 3rd star in the Deep Dark Galaxy. When I got to the final planet, I looked up in the sky for no reason. I noticed that there was a random Launch star there. Curious, I flew to it using teh Transformations code. It made me fly a fairly short distance, and then Luigi did his flip in the air as if he was getting ready to land on a planet. He didn't, and he then turned sideways, still falling. he fell, died, and then respawned. But the respawning is the interesting part. He almost respawned normally, but then as the blackness went away, I realized I was floating in mid-air. You would expect me to fall, and I did, but before I did, I land on thin air, if only for a second, and THEN fell.

This leads to one of two things:

1. The developers decided to have a random death launch star.
2. This was originally supposed to be part of the Star World/Beta Deep Dark Galaxy

You decide. I find it VERY interesting.

I found that a week ago, I ignored it since I was pretty sure that one of the stars loads a planet there since some Galaxy's do that, and maybe you're just not on the right star.

I'll check it out with all stars since I know where the star is.


Edit...Wow, none of the stars have a planet there...

I found it when I was on the 4th star. Easiest way to find it is *Bubble Blastoff, the 2nd star*

I suggest you go on the 2nd star, go on that watermelon planet, and stand on the
yellow thing closest to the toad ship. *Where you talk to him*

Then fly directly up.

yea... i found this a while ago. theres a better one in Toy Time Galaxy where if you go past some of the unused planets just floating and go down to a Cake planet, (may have been used in another level dont know) anyways if you float around the sides of it you will find a Green warp Pipe in mid air next to it on a slant. if you enter it it takes you to a level that i've seen before in game, but if you leave it causes a chain death cycle :D

I'm pretty sure that's definitely a unloaded planet because of a star you chose.
One of the stars with have that Level loaded, just not the one you're on.

That's the 1st thing I found using fly.

wow that was a fast reply :P anyways are you sure we're talking about the same thing? besides i've found tons of SMG glitches already. (with cheats of course which doesn't really make it official but whatever) I found a couple of fake planets that look as if they were real. I wrote them down somewhere, but i have to find them :mad:

In the Freezeflame Galaxy enter on first level and instead of skating and collecting the star shards or whatnot, just fly to the planet with the hollow center. You can land on it, but its not the real planet, it has no opposite side (you just fall right through) and the camera's are all messed up. You're practically knee deep in the planet's model (LOL) and if you fly on top you can get pulled into an endless push-pull type situation making a hilarious mario yo-yo :D

I know this already, I've looked a lot in SMG, i'm not sure if i can find anything new.

I can even escape the Observatory, so I don't get pulled back in.

i've died in observatory too :P i've got some others but i'm bad at explaining so i wish i had a camera 0.o
