I found something else in deep dark galaxy. It's nothing big, but, once you go to it look up in the sky by the planet you get the fire flower at. You will see a black box. I flew up to it, and it turned out to be the room if you go through the warp pipe that you get to after you spin the spikes.:lol
You suck at mazes if you can't do this one.

I've been there, in fact, I posted something about it a couple pages back.

Mario transformations code updated to v1.1.  This will probably be the last revision of the code, unless serious bugs are found.

1.1 Transformations code no longer affects transformations that are done normally with a power-up.  Also, you can now disable transformation enhancements (infinite time with transformation, infinite bee flight, no power-up music) by holding button 2 and pressing button 1 twice.

What does the added effect do? "No longer effects transformations that are done normally with a power-up." What does that mean?

Awesome speed modifier code. Now for the color modifier :irule:

I fixed your quote. :P

It means exactly what it says; with v1.0 or earlier of the transformations code, there would be certain side-effects to having the code on when collecting certain power-ups.  If a Rainbow Star, Fire Flower, Ice Flower, or Red Star is collected the power-up is supposed to be timed and change the game's BG music, but the transformations code would prevent that.

so... it means that if I turned to Fire Mario/Luigi, and then got a Fire Flower, I would still have infinite time for Fire Mario/Luigi?

OK, I've found some stuff after testing the speed code.

1. If you slide off an edge feet first, Mario/Luigi gets SHOT from the ledge, and into absolutely nowhere. I died in the observatory with the glitch :p
2. It affects EVERYTHING you do that has a speed to it.. Jumping, spinning(slightly), and, the BEST PART, IT AFFECTS HOW FAST YOU FLY WITH RED STAR MARIO! Finally.

I made a... weird discovery.:lol

Go to Deep Dark Galaxy (dun dun dun!)
Pick the purple coins star.
Go to the water with the huge jellyfish is.
Step on the platform there with the purple coin.
JUMP! Then fly to the place where you would normally start.
Talk to the yellow toad on top of the blue... thing
He says nothing...
You'll notice a pipe too. STRANGE!:confused
Go down it... and... your in the box in the sky!
VeRY wEIRd!

Anyway I'll try to discover more there and you try too!
You suck at mazes if you can't do this one.

Has anyone seen any new codes for the game? I think the game's in the middle of a code drought.

Obviously, if they aren't posted here most likely there aren't any new codes.

I havent been on in a while.
I think brkirch means that if you jump and spin and press 2 with transformation at the same time, it plays the music. But it doesnt work with rainbow star. Maybe now you can change if you wanna hear the music or not.

Yeah, I've done that. Go to the beach, you know, the starting point for normal star. Talk to the red toad. He'll actually mention the purple coins, when he is completely inaccessable on the purple coin star!

I didn't see these codes up anywhere figured I would just post them. The codes are basically just Infinite coins and starbits during level play.

I just started using USBgecko so if my codes are wrong please let me know but to the best of my knowledge they work just fine for the US NTSC version of super mario galaxy.

The codes were tested with USBgecko/WiiRd only not Ocarina!!
