no the char mod doesnt work online. people got it to work online by both people using the code. or by using a wifi char mod.

no it wont ruin thier my music, basicaly because that code doesnt work on wifi.
id say yes because if a code to make THAT work on wifi was made then you could find the values and whatnot then there would be a working wifi char mod on the lose.

No, wifi codes don't work that way, it is way more complex than just putting codes next to a code to make it do something else

like i say and like everybody says,Wifi codes aren't allowed IF,IF and ill say it again, IFFF they give you advantage over other people or will ruin their online experience.

I thought for sure it did. I read somewhere that Character data is sent through the Wiis, making them work online without de-sync... I guess it's not as simple as using a Write Character Offset kind of thing, huh?

Or, you're just not telling me something because of ill placed trust... But, I doubt that's the case.

But, if there was a Character Mod for Wi-Fi, would it mess up their My Music?

And, how does a Character Mod mess up My Music anyway? Because when it tries to save what player you were, it finds that the character isn't defined, so it tries to save it, but fails and changes the wrong data?

No, it wouldn't touch their game if you were using codes. As long as they aren't using any, all the 'bad' side effects will only attribute to you. If you try to use ANY offline codes online, eventually you'll get desynced from your friend as he won't see what you're seeing without using the same codes as you, even Character Mods. Character mod was made for WiFi but, wasn't posted due to what it could potentially do for WiFi, even if SOME people were to use it in With Friends, there would still be people using it for With Anyone regardless of saying 'no' to it.

Also, the character mod messes up your my music by not knowing WHERE to store the unplayable character's data. So, when you play as Independent Charizard and you finish a  match, it doesn't know where to save the win and other records since he isn't NORMALLY able to be played as. Thus, it messes up your My Music and your name that you used with the character at the time.

There ARE a few codes that work together to stop this from happening though and if you want them I can post them but, beyond that, using the Character Modifier by itself for characters like Alloys and Independent Pokemon, it will NOT know where to store the character data for the victory/losing.

OK, I think I get this now. Unless everyone is using the same codes, there will be a desync. But, hypothetically, let's say I got this Wi-Fi Character Mod and used it with Friends, with their knowing of it, but they don't have Gecko OS, but I do. Would we both see the modded character without desync? And, if we do, will we both get messed up names and music when we enter the Results Screen? And could the Character Mod Fixer prevent us both from messed up Music?
