they're all actually xmas trees, just the game can only load a certain number of lights and the rest loaded after first 30 or so, are just without lights.

Well, I only planted 3 or 4 xmas trees, max. All I know is that after I saved, and loaded again, only the trees in the bottom half of the map, still had lights. Before I saved and loaded, all 3-4 had lights on just fine.

Thanks for all the stage values, and the "find and replace" code.  This will make more towns more customizable, making the game more fun.

For 'terrain code' ranges, please check: http://www.aibohack.com/wii/index.html (near bottom)

IMHO: manually editing your town map with 'codes' can be very tedious. It can be tedious to lay out patterns (or other special items) on your world map only to turn into trees. It may not be as tedious as planting seedlings the 100% legit way, but still tedious.
Where possible, use a Map Editor (Virus has recently released one on another BBS). That makes you god over your town. Customize it in many ways you want. Adding a row of different kinds of trees is only a few clicks away. No need to lookup and remember 16 bit item codes.

A bit of history: Back in AC:WW day, there were two *different* hacking alternatives, Action Replay MAX/DUO that did gamesave editing only, and a newer Action Reply that did 'codes' only. In those days, you had to decide between gamesave editing (AKA map editing) and codes. You had to buy both if you wanted the best of both worlds. People (like me) had to try to make tools for both audiences.

With the Wii, once you have WiiBrew enabled you can do both !!!
My advice: use 'codes' for the runtime hacks you can't do with map editing (like running fast or really tricky stuff). For customizing your town, especially significant renovations, save the game to an SD card, and use a map editor. That gives you a 'gods eye view' of your town.
BTW: acre editing (http://www.aibohack.com/wii/accf_acres.htm ) is also possible with 'codes', but it gets complicated fast. Another example where an external tool makes it easier.

Sorry if this has been asked, but is there anything after CF54 on the item list? I've tried CF58-CF8C, but that's it. They say that there are "very special items (higher "CF??" numbers)," but I didn't find anything. I input the code and nothing changed in my inventory. I'm just wondering if there is anything higher than CF54.

Why does it freeze when I have a rock in my inventory?

Why does it freeze when I have a rock in my inventory?

Two things:
A) That question should answer it's self :/
B) Does this look like the support thread?

> ...They say that there are "very special items (higher "CF??" numbers),"
Sorry I will remove that. It is misleading and dangerous.
> ...Lamp Value (9160)
And other inside-building special case codes, also dangerous.
> ...Why does it freeze when I have a rock in my inventory?
(and other repeated questions...)

Here's some background that may be useful:
There are many 16 bit numbers that look like item codes. But they are used in many different places.

Regular item codes:
This is list for the regular item codes: http://www.aibohack.com/wii/accf_items.htm
You can place them in your pockets (inventory) or on the town map. Sometimes they will act differently.
Sometimes dropping an item on the ground will change the item code. Sometimes picking up an item will change its item code.
They are the most safe items you can use.
Some items (especially 'not used' and Japanese named ones) are internal items used for special situations. They may cause problems in the game.
AFAIK: all of these items codes should work in your pockets -- if not please email me.

Terrain item codes:
Item codes with low numbers 00xx ( http://www.aibohack.com/wii/index.html#TERRAIN )
Things like full grown trees, rocks, patterns, flowers and weeds.
YOU CAN NOT put terrain items in your pockets (inventory) or the game will wedge/crash.
In the old AC:WW game, you could put them in your pockets, travel to another town and cause problems.
In AC:CF, you can only use them in the town map. Poke them directly into the town map addresses to layout rocks, full grown trees, etc.
AFAIK: *NONE* of these items codes should work in your pockets -- if you find one that does please email me.

[[ Stop here unless you like experimenting and finding new quirky and dangerous items ]]
----
Other special codes:
There are other 16-bit codes used throughout the game. They are not general items. You can't put them in your pockets (normally).
This includes: snow-men, sign-posts, bus stops, special items inside shops, special items during errands from neighbors and other cases.

If you find one of these codes that works for you, please post it and details for how to reproduce it. Please add a warning that this is not a normal pocket/inventory code and using it requires some experimentation.
Other people may try it, but it is likely it won't work for them (in their pockets). These special items require other game variables to be setup correctly.
When you put one of these special items in your pockets (and the rest of the game isn't expecting it), it may be ignored, or more likely the game will wedge/crash.

Expect plenty of game crashes when playing with these items.
The other 'regular items' and 'terrain items' should not cause crashes (when used properly)

Panda On Smack

When visiting someone else's town is it still possible to edit your items as they move from the usual place
