Would there be any way to make a code that allows you to toss items in your pocket as if they were mail and completely delete them?
For example if I was fishing and caught a boot, instead of taking it to the dump or to nook I could simply select the item and toss it like it was a letter and it would be gone.

I suggest you just drop patterns where you want them and use heotoans modified weed code.

I tried to use the replace code (/modified weed removal code) to change a dropped pattern into a tree... I'm a noob and I really don't know what I'm doing here...  Nothing I've tried (with respect to this replace code) will work, in fact GeckoOS crashes upon trying to apply the code. (plus I'm unsure as to what value I'll end up using for the tree, was hopping it would let me guess and check, lol.)
Do I need a button activator? I tried adding one to the start of the code, but that wouldn't load the game either.

I've been trying a similar method of getting trees into my town, namely, cedar trees out of their natural habitat (grown from a dropped apple).

I put Igglyboo's activator (Z+D-pad up) on it, and my game will load and run.. but it will crash when I use my activator.

I've still got one last thing to try, and that is to drop the apples and then use an activatorless version of the code after saving and rebooting... but from your report, that doesn't seem to work very well.

You can't put an activator on it.

Just start game without codes, place the items to replace, and then start game with codes.

Then it will work.

By any chance, is there a code that disables Wi-Fi on purpose? I'm trying to go to a friend's town but it won't let me all of a sudden.

If you are not doing the disk update you cannot go on wifi.

It doesn't block homebrew at all, but the wad you need to go online is IOS38, which you can rip from your disk with WUFE
