the codes don't work for me,running from disk with gecko 1.3.1.. i have usbloader to.. need help  :confused:

If this is for requests, then is there a kind of "1 purple coin for star" thing, (the same as the one for SMG)? Also, an infinite time code would be nice, HOWEVER, it would be recommended that it's a switch, that is, so that in speed run stars, you can switch it on to have infinite time, however, you should also be able to turn it off for The Chimp's challenges, other wise, you'd just be stuck, because the game actually ends when the timer hits 0.

Also, is it possible for an always Rainbow Mario code (either that or a version of the transformations code, you know, the press 2 to cycle through, and press 1 to activate/de-activate)?

Request for button activator for PAL (For NTSC it is 28B37FCA 0000xxxx but that does not work.)
I would like to stop the huge orange clocks, and the code from NTSC works, but the button activator does not. Please Help

NTSC ASM codes works on PAL

all codes works.
brkirchs moonjump should also work on PAL.

NTSC codes seem to work for most functions but i can not get the button activator to work.
I can stop the big orange timers using the following code:
04461078 90030034 and presumably it can be restarted using 04461078 60000000
Restarting it is necessary or the level wlil never end.
This requires a button activator and I have found three references but none that work on PAL

Update: Of cause the codes above are switched for stop and restart.  :)

PS A code for slowing the big orange timers down wold work just as well and with no need for a button activator.

ardemii has posted several key dependent codes in the SB4P01 data file. These do not work on my PAL 4.2E game.
Are these codes working for anybody?
Do I need to upgrade my firmware? (Can I do that without loosing my softmod?)

I FINALLY! found the problem with ardemiis keypad activator code. :)
He admitted to being French, so I tried starting the game in French mode and voila! the keypad activator worked.

So now the question is: Does anyone know the offset for this to make the PAL keypad activator work on the English game?

That's from 80000000.  53423450 = SB4E = the game name, which is stored at 80000000.

The other dead give away was the "disease" line - 0D15EA5E.  That's also only found at the beginning of memory.

Okay, that looks like the right section for the Teleportation code.  I just wanted to make sure...I know a lot of the ASM is the same between regions.

I haven't read this thread too thoroughly, but I think I saw something that indicates there are different button activators depending on the language you're using?  Does anyone have a list of the button activators for various languages?

I re-read the thread, and apparently ardemii also found a language-neutral button activator address.  80756102

You can use these to warp between multiple points at will. Set a warp point up near Yoshi, then get somewhere that Yoshi can't normally go, set another warp point, warp back to Yoshi, get him, warp forward. The last bit of a CC code type determines whether it is on or off by default.  I think 1 is off by default.

Bamsen - I recommend using the surface swapper instead.  You can use it to replace all the bad surfaces with ground, while leaving the slipsand and ice and bouncy surfaces alone.  Since non-button-activated codes are universal, this *should* work.

I think it chose E in  an attempt to make L, because that is funny!  I think I understand what I see, sorta.  You're doing some...branch?...b 0x8F70...but the rest of it is even more interesting.  It looks like you're doing an 06 write overtop of where the codes may be in the code handler, and writing your own code.

ardemii you said that the teleportation code freezes on PAL.  Which code are you trying (Single, Multi, Multi-Levitation)?  Does it freeze instantly, or when you go to load/store coordinates?

When the game freezes, go to the Breakpoint tab and hit "Get BP Data", then post the registers and disassembly please.

You can use these to warp between multiple points at will. Set a warp point up near Yoshi, then get somewhere that Yoshi can't normally go, set another warp point, warp back to Yoshi, get him, warp forward. Or set warp points near power-ups so you can warp to and from them easily. Warp points can also get you back from launch stars. They can be the ultimate checkpoint that is remembered even if you leave the level and come back.

It worked out perfectly, no crash or anything.  :)
Just remember that if you save locations of a galaxy, then goes to another galaxy and uses the warp, you will end up in a random place, most likely fall to death (This happened to me atleast  :p )

But I only have the NTSC...ardemii was testing the port to see if it worked.  Sky, you should test the levitation multi-teleporter-levitation.  ardemii is having problems with it, but I think the problems might be related to using the USB Gecko, and it might work as an SD cheat

You can use these to warp between multiple points at will. Set a warp point up near Yoshi, then get somewhere that Yoshi can't normally go, set another warp point, warp back to Yoshi, get him, warp forward. But I only have the NTSC...ardemii was testing the port to see if it worked.  Sky, you should test the levitation multi-teleporter-levitation.  ardemii is having problems with it, but I think the problems might be related to using the USB Gecko, and it might work as an SD cheat

It can be used to replace one surface (for example, lava) with another surface (ground).  Then you can walk on lava.

And why did you make a second one?  Is it any better than ZiT's?

Also, the ASM is supposed to be the same for both PAL and NTSC, so my invincibility code should work...and it's a lot smaller too.

but clone spawner and transformation (includes drill) exists! i just dont think there is one with a drill in it. but i think its possible to put drill into the transformation code with all the other transforms.

Clone spawner was in the vid i did link its name was Gobbleguts craving... i can do that with gobblegut too but it would be nice with clone spawner
and a transformation code or just a code where you gain drill when pressing short - or +

And since he can use them in the video they must exist!

if you can get the clone spawner and the transformation code you could try changing some numbers so the drill also includes! THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL

Found out that he just used the clones that is in The Shadow Lining
and putted them together in one place...but it would be nice if someone could make a clone spawn code

i have a problem with my wii...(yes its updated  :'( ) but i'm still able to hack all games except from SMG2... why ???

I have an NTSC wii and the code only lets me change into flying mario/luigi and any other power up in the level. so say there is a cloud thing it will only let me change into flying mario/luigi and cloud mario/luigi.
