Seriously confused about things

I just don't get it, I looked around and found people who released tut videos about 7 months ago and have loads of views. While I just sit there slowly getting a view a day or maybe none at all. I don't know what it is. I have the same trouble with my cut-scene channel but at least people watch them a little more. Is it timing, lack of interest, people don't like me, or simply no one has noticed them yet. I also ask for feedback and only one person replied, while a few months back cosmo_cortney I think posted and people responded enthusiastically. I don't want this to sound like a whine because it isn't. It's just me saying what I have confusion about and want to know why or peoples opinion why. I don't know maybe I'm paranoid.

Edit: I looked at the channel again and see that it has received more views in the slight period of time it was up then my other channel when it first went online.
In the begining there was nothing. Then it exploded

your youtube channel isn't very well know, and the WiiRd scene is dieing down, mostly due to the bad rep online hackers give us all >.>

I don't even know what channel you're talking about... Where did you advertise it? Just going by my own personal youtube viewing history, I'd usually watch individual videos that I've seen the advertisement of. Did you advertise yours?

Yup. Call of duteh hackers sure like to ruin good things.
wrong, this isn´t because of online hackers. They existed from the beginning until now and there were good hacking times with them also (MKWii).

People who retire are simply done with Wii hacking in general like e.g. ZiT.
And the new WiiU is coming out and the Wii isn´t so "exciting" anymore. There are hardly any new amazing games.
That´s why the scene is dieing.

You can´t get a lot out of wii helping stuff.
Maximum a few thousand views and that´s it.
Many people search up homebrew installation guides, though.

When has online hacking been "good"? All it's ever done is ruin games for the other people playing.

The scene is dwindling because Wii itself is. This has happened with every console that's been hacked.

The only thing online hackers do is give us a bad stereotype from outsiders. (well, not the only thing...)

The Gecko Code Handler is possibly the best code handler ever made so I hope very much to see it replicated on future systems. 3DS maybe. WiiU hopefully.


Most of us wont go on to hack the next system even after a console hacker enables us to and a code handler is written though.
But some of us will!
I came very late in N64 hacking, left, and came back just as encryption was broken on GCN AR codes.
There are very few people left hanging around from those days- most of the remaining are on KodeWerx.org and spill onto GameHacking.org too.
(GameHacking.org also has a large population of Sony game hackers there- which is quite a different style of hacking than us nintendo guys are used to!)


GeckoCodes will most likely adapt to the next generation of code hacking. These forms would likely get a section for it if enough of join in. Otherwise the WiiRd Forums will go the way of ARCentral.net and amount to a place where 3 or 4 friends chat once a week or so- non hackers included.

Not always "bad". When a hacker promotes others like playing with 35555VR online and losing benefits everyone.
It also can be used the other way round to drain though... but about 95% of all mkwii hackers are for the lulz (and get last).
That´s why good old mkwii hacking times.

The gecko codehandler definitely is the best ever made, even though I don´t know many others. 8)

This is my ordering of code handlers:

1st: Gecko Wii (more options than any other. Includes: data registers, arithmetic and binary options, full set of excellent pointer options, loops, great asm injection, mem copy, strings writes, etc!)

2nd: ActionReplay DS (data registers, nice loop control, awesome bitmask writing. Missing some useful ones like Increment/Decrement but more code types added/changed with handler hacks though.)

3rd: GameShark N64 (great set of options, especially for the time. Has a sweet "write once" codetype, a string/patch write, and even a way to set the code list location in memory!)

4th: CodeBreaker DS (masked write, decent pointer usage, write-once codetype, mem copy, and string/patch code)

5th: GameShark PS2 (Increment/Decrement, Fill and Slide codetype, concise conditionals)


ActionReplay GCN code handler is poorly planned. Has an absurd amount of unnecessary conditional options. It did have the Fill/Slide codetype and memory copy though.
