How can I use the Gamecube WiiRd cheats?

Hi everybody,
I'm sorry to bother you with a little noob question.
I'd just want to to ask you if I'm right.
To use the cheats I have to:
- have the Gecko OS Gamecube Version - I already have it and it's running
- a valid gct file which is on the SD Card that is in the SD Gecko in Slot B (I think the right directory is "SD:\data\gecko\codes"?)

What else do I have to do to get Gecko to use the cheats?

Don't use the Gamecube Gecko OS release. It's really really old.

As I understand it, it was only for use with the USB Gecko, so you wouldn't be able to run SD Cheats, anyways.

Assuming you're using a Wii, you can use NeoGamma to load the game, and run SD Cheats.
