How can I make programs I have downloaded (for instance Gecko) appear on the homebrew channel main page? I downloaded these programs through the web browser. Everything was going fine and dandy, until I tried to download "Ocarina" I ran it with my game, and it gave me an error 02. I rebooted my wii, to find that my homebrew main page was now only 3 things, a custom ios thing, a all in one tool for ios stuff. and wiiflow. I messed around with the all in one tool, and found that the programs I downloaded and all my other stuff was still there, through the app manager. How can I fix this problem so that the applications are portrayed on the main page?

Important info: I didn't softmod the wii. So any help given please keep in mind that I have no knowledge of anything really. I also messed around with the IOS things, there were so many to choose from, all for a specific thing in each wii. After doing so, I could get the apps displayed on the main page, but then after I would exit out to the wii channel menu, and back into the wii homebrew, I would be forced to mess around with it again in order to display the apps on the main page. So I would also like to ask how I can set it so that it's more of like a "default" type of thing. As it was before I attempted to use Ocarina.

Thanks, I know I am a zero poster but any help would be appreciated.

Hmmmm, did you download the apps that are now displayed?
In the begining there was nothing. Then it exploded

Put your SD card into a PC.  Expand all the folders.  Take a screenshot and post it.  That can help us narrow down problems.

Your SD card must have the right folder structure for the Homebrew Channel to read it.  Each app must have a folder in SD:\apps\[appname]\.  The app should have three files inside that folder; boot.elf, icon.png, and meta.xml.

Here's an example for Gecko OS.

SD:\apps\Gecko1931\boot.elf
SD:\apps\Gecko1931\icon.png
SD:\apps\Gecko1931\meta.xml

He said they were there before. So you think that whatever happened changed/deleted names/files?
