So I say they have more hearts than you can collect and they probably give you a dusk relic if you already have max.

I never use them on the 1st-2nd playthroughs. Everyone else claims they had to draw every thing before they got it.

EDIT: Just noticed that but how'd you get all 20 hearts without getting the piece from him? That doesn't make sense.

Again:

You start with 6
You get 6 from Bosses = 12
You get 24 Heart Pieces = 18
You get 2 from the Life Medals = 20

As far as the Goron goes, draw the thing he asks for (it's different for everybody) and if it's the one he asked for, he'll be like 'OH IT MAKES SENSE' then gives you the Heart Piece.

However it seems like there are more locations to get heart pieces than actual heart pieces required to max out your Health gauge.

Didn't know this game added that kind of thing in. Gotta be a first for the series. Kind of lame that they would do such a thing. Collecting them all use to be part of the challenge in the game. Boo!

There's still a couple things I want to do before I hack it. Like get the Hylian shield and draw the correct thing for that goron on the wall.
Also, didn't save after the final fight so that I could first copy my save and have a hero mode on a separate file.

Haha, I just beat the game earlier this morning too, and I copied my save as well.

My friend said he got Heart Pieces in places I didn't... so yeah. Game is being sneaky... and hand-holdy.

Can there be a code where you don't have to have seen the cut-scene to skip em?

The game also seems to know that I've seen the cutscene even if I turn off the wii without saving. So if your worried about seeing the cutscene multiple times, there's no worries. Unless you just don't want to see the cutscene at all. Then I guess someone will have to look into that.

Yep. I turned it off without saving 3 times when I failed or died and it gave me the press 2 option each time.

So, that means the game actually saves something to the file when a cutscene's played. Maybe by comparing the saves before and after a scene without touching any bird statue you could see where the game's saving that flag to?

i dont know what code is but im getting trouble when i do to the faron woods trials when you have to get some seeds without getting any hit from the guardians.... well when i get the seed it doesnt appear that i got it the little tree on the upper left still on blank like if i never pick up any spirit seed and im getting the same thing when i bought some rupee bag i can only get 500 rupees instead of 1400 i could actually get

for the codes that i use....... i activate: inf stamina/air (but this one isnt the problem because i used only this one after everything and i could get the spirits and rupees) then i activate walk through walls pressing left d pad, inf items w/o the keys, 99 bug/materials,
No Time Limit on Beetle Flight and
Infinite Shield Health ( but this code never worked with me)

I actually had the same problem and once I deactivated the Inf. Items w/o Keys code collecting the tears and rupees worked as it should. Also, Infinite Shield Health does in fact work just make sure you have your shield in the slot at the 9:00 position on the item screen. If it's not, then go talk to the item check lady at the bazaar and she'll let you rearrange your items. I hope this helps.

really thanks that should help i actually was playing that part using only inf stamina/air but i know that the only thing that i need to deactivate is the inf items so thanks again mate

This code stopped working for me a day or two ago. Did it get changed or something? (I've been downloading the new .txt file with all the cheats every day since this is a new-ish game).

It happened when I returned to the sky to talk to the Headmaster about the Sky Spirit. The flying speed had just reset to normal.
Anyone have an idea why this might have happened?

I don't know if the pointer version would always work until the end of the game, if at some point it stops working (again), I can at least count on the search version to always work.

Yeah, so far it seems to work everywhere I fly, but I haven't finished the game yet, so maybe it will stop working later on...

I modified my original code to use that pointer and it kept crashing when I pressed C I eventually gave it 3 address range checks and it still crashes when I press C
