I tried those values for XXXX in the hex code, they still make the game freeze.  There are actually two places in the cheat list where text speed is listed:

When I alter one nothing seems to happen.  

When I alter the other one, the game freezes.



Is this an uncommon situation? I see several forums where people do not seem to have any trouble with the text skip.

I want to play skyward sword, it's really fun, but the idea of these cheats eliminating some of the frustration appeals to me so much that I won't play it until I can cheat.

Okay. Hi, i'm new here, so if I make any rookie mistakes, please inform me.
I would like to request a few codes for skyward sword (U.S) that I cannot seem to find anywhere, and would like to know if they are hard/impossible to generate.

Specifically, I would like to know if it is possible to generate size modifiers for link and for different parts, like his face/sword/shield and such.

I've seen such codes in the japan version, but I don't think they'd work for a U.S. game. In addition, is it possible to generate the codes so that they can be altered for each axis (x, y and z)? Like how size modifiers work in most zelda games?

Any thoughts/codes that you can come up with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hey, ran into a major issue. Ended up getting the song of hero's part from the fire dragon before Levias fight. now when I beat the parasite leave the area and return I have to fight it again. Also none of the Faron woods cut scene and demise fight triggers are active. Anyone know how I can get the part of the song out of my inventory?

Did exactly the same thing :-) I was mucking about with the clawshot after doing something in the volcano and next thing I know i.ve opened a door and got the hero song. wiisave to the rescue...

It's been a while since I been here. Anyway, I am having trouble with this game and I am wondering if it could be related to the Gecko OS codes I am using. I am at the point just after getting Sacred Water and taking it back to the Water Dragon. The game freezes black screen when it is supposed to load the area after going through the door that leads into her chamber. The main codes I am using are:

- Inf. Health
- Inf. Rupees
- Inf. Ammo (Seeds, bombs, arrows)
- Inf. Stamina/Air
- Silent Realm State Modifier (Awake/Sleep)
- Inf. Flight Charges

Please help if possible and thanks   :)

Over a year later and I've decided to try to re-work this issue, but consistently get a black screen after Wii-mote calibration. I won't give up so easy!  Here's what I tried over the last several hours:

1. Downloaded and tried running AccioHacks from WiiLauncher, but it had the same issue as Gecko OS
2. Ran what appeared to be de-fragmentation on my SD card through BootMii
3. Retried step 1
4. Formatted my SD card and installed HackMii 1.5 and the updated Homebrew channel
5. Retried step 1
6. Continued researching tutorials and made this post

My hunch is that I'm focusing on the wrong part of the problem. How can so many people not have this issue?  Does my Wii need an update somewhere else?
