XAT Chat?

the chat box could be implemented anywhere on the geckocodes page...
It would be filled with people that probably need some quick help with codes and people can instantly help them.

those are what I use mainly, XeR and I have been working on bots (mostly him so far) for the chat.

Right now Ocean (the bot) has a bunch of ID's of hackers stored. We denote hacker status with a plusminus sign in the name. If anyone else tries to put a plusminus sign in their name, who isn't a hacker, will be kicked.

The bot automatically members people and makes logs of the chat.


Just saying, it might be useful if we combined chats or something.

Also, we still have the old #usbgecko irc channel in EfNet :|

everybody pasties now a days anyways. what's with the NSFW and vertically intrusive sig-pic you got there? If you complain about xat not matching the "ambiance" of here, (which because you said IRC was more appropriate, I hope you mean professional) don't ruin this "ambiance" with your trashy pictures that are the epitome of unprofessionalism.

I'd change it myself, but I'm not quite sure it's /actually/ violating any rules. So you can change it on your own if you have any decency and self-respect.

As visually appealing as the sig-pic may be, I'm gunna have to agree with hetoan2.  Please remove the NSFW image, and hopefully we won't have to add something to the rules about indecent pictures.

what about the WiiRd (xat) chat then?
I really like to have an external WiiRd chat since there won´t be that many WiiRd members online at the same time as if some other random chatgroup is used.
Skype is also nice... I just won´t take that decision nor the creation of a new chat on my own. There are some more important members than me :|
