GC Wiird codes not working...

I have tried both the modded gecko os and the latest neogamma and the only way i can get it to read the codes is if the Gamecube Mode is "internal" but it wont read discs on internal mode. it only reads discs on MIOS mode but it doesnt read the codes. Does anyone know how i can get this to work?

You installed the latest cMIOS, correct?
