MIOS black screen

well you see i have wii 4.3u , and when i try to upload a MIOS patch my TV screen turns black and my wii freezes. The whole reason for me doing this is so i can use the Action Replay app on homebrew. Is hacking gamecube games even possible with 4.3? is there a high risk in doing so? if any of you can answer these question than i would appreciate it very much ;D..... PS the only thing i have really done to the wii is upload IOS36 so i can hack VC games, i have Gecko OS and a few other apps and thats about all i have really done. is there ANY hope for me hacking my favorite gamecube games any way, or should i just stop? I would love to have some help.....

It says in another thread you need Gecko OS MOD as only it can do Gamecube games.
