That's why, it's better to have some codes Button Activated to prevent the game from Freezing when the code's always active, and no need to go back and forth between PC and Wii.

Dyne

yeah... I was about to request codes like those... button activated... that way they wouldn't freeze the game so often... still... I don't have a GC controller... I just got the Wii a couple of days ago... if it's easier... why not share a game in the first episodes of each 3 parts with lot's of brave, ss weapons and some stat boosting items? that would also save some trouble...

g6flavor

ShadowX39, thanks for the codes.

Could you do the Button Activator code address next? It should be much more easy to make than other codes and it would probably take only couple mins to make it. TIA!

hetoan2

on the contrary. it takes FOREVER to make button activators. it takes like 15 mins per button >_<

g6flavor

15mins per button? What are you talking about? You just need to find an address.

Dyne

exactly because it's an address that you DO NOT know it's because it takes forever! And even still 15 mins per button is a good time...

I know since I hacked some cheats for some psp games, I never sent them though, since no one seemed to want them and they were not exactly grateful for my effort. I was banned in one forum for complaining about some non working cheats... one of the games was Harvest moon: boy and girl... anyways, the point of this post is to make clear that, even though we all want the button activator cheats, we HAVE to wait and be grateful.

g6flavor

What 15mins per button are you guys talking about...as far as I know, the button address will work on all button combinations, so what's with this 15mins per button thing? I must be missing something...

Dyne

if it was that easy, don't you think they would go right away at it?

button presses in game change some things, that's one address that changes, menus appearing, disappearing, changing a character, etcs. All of those change memories, and, without knowing the address... figuring it out kind of takes time...

Neo Shadow

And besides, if it's that easy, go get it yourself. And you're sooooo right, it should only take a couple of minutes !

- NO CODE REQUESTS IN THESE THREADS, THANK YOU - (at least not asked like that. Shad's not a slave, sheesh -__-)

Dyne

leaving all that stuff about correct ways to request cheats...

I have a few questions regarding the skills in a char, if someone has tested them... can they be activated in a slot were a char doesn't have a skill? or it has to be on a slot with an active skill?

thanks

Yes, you can create skills in empty slots..on page 19, I say this on my first list of codes for Normal Mode.
However, it's pure good sense but better safe than sorry : Be sure that you add a skill to a slot directly next to an already existing skill, don't leave gap. If it works like the items, it may create the skill, move it up to fill the gap and create it again in the slot you activated the code for. The problem is that, even if it was no problem for the items (easy item duplication), it may crash the game with the skills (since I suppose characters aren't supposed to have the same skill twice). So, yeah, be careful.

Dyne

of course I know about gaps and all that stuff... remember that I said that I hacked codes?

I was just wondering, because the item creator codes required items there, unless you wanted the game to hang... and, it seems that when a weapon is being blessed trought the codes, the chars are unable to equip it, freezing the game if you make them attack.

my second playtrought will be a lot easier now... THANKS!

Ok, I have a question about Skills and Weapon Mods.

For example, when you're playing as Ike and you equip him with the best skills and best Weapon SS.
But, when you fight against Ike (CPU), does those skills and weapon ss also applies to him making him almost impossible to defeat?

And did anyone test this code?

Chapter 4 Normal Mode

All Bosses have 1 HP (1 hit kill)

.... ummm...

edited... miss reading ability +9

...can I request normal skills creation codes?

g6flavor

That's why I said many times....a Button Activator code is needed.
It would make codes more safe from freezing.
