You don't downgrade nowadays.
To regain the ability hack again, you need to patch your IOS36.

Yeah, you don't need to downgrade anymore.  Downgrading can be dangerous.

Go to the link Romaap gave and ctrl-f for "Patching IOS36".  It's pretty simple, nothing has to be downgraded at all.
