I have a question for those who already have this game, can you use your PAL save on the NTSC-U version? If not, is there a way to convert it using tools/codes?

Oh and I want an unlock all extras (like movie cgs in the gallery) code, if one hasn't been made yet.

no you can't.  but there is a way, i converted my pal save to ntsc save using savegame gx latest version.  Its easy.

:)

Arudo

I'll be blunt... it's not really hard to unlock all the movies in the gallery if you're playing through the game with codes. And most of them are really short anyway.

Unless you're just too lazy to play through the whole game and beat the missions to earn the movies then... yeah, you're just being lazy.

i enjoyed the challenge of getting those 4th weapons.

With previous codes,i already got level 50 to all characters, all max stats.
CAW got 3 4th weapons already completed.
Story Mode got 18 4th weapons
Free Mode  got 4 4th weapons
Muramasa castle havent touch yet :)

what arudo has to do is make an code for infinite items or easy 4th weapons or something more useful than unlocking movies lol

I'm not working on this game anymore, remember the hackers here are doing this out of their own free time or as a hobby. I usually just make codes for myself and then release them because I feel like it.

I don't even USE the items in game except for healing while online, so really I don't care about it enough to be bothered.

I'm still not doing anything with 4th weapons, so you can stop hinting at it, it's somewhat irritating.
I will reiterate; there are 8 possible slots for weapons. I've altered these slots before with values 00-FF, any greater than FF will crash the game. Within the values of 00-FF you can get 1 of the 4 possible weapons, however it will NOT have the stats of the weapon, NOT have the skills of the weapon it's supposed to, and will likely only act like the weapon/armor it has replaced.

Somebody else can figure it out if they choose to pick up hacking this game.

If you want to get the weapons that badly right away, just max out your level to 50, max your stats by leveling again after unlocking them, clear the mission you need, then go and reset abilities if you don't want to play as a level 50 maxed character.

You've done more than enough for this game, Arudo. Thanks once again.

I got really bored and had a majorly OCD moment.

This is if you have access to a USBGecko and Wiird if you want to play with it. I will not be converting this to code.

Instructions: Find the character whose weapon you want to change.

Example: Yukimura's Weapon Slot 1

806546BC 000000WW
806546C0 000000EE
806546C4 000000##
806546C8 000000S1
806546CC 000000S2
806546D0 000000S3
806546D4 000000S4
806546D8 000000S5
806546DC 000000S6
806546E0 0?0?0?0?
806546E4 0?0?0P11 Leave the 11 alone.

WW - Refers to which particular piece of equipment you want. Each character's weapon has a different attack stat, and each 4th weapon has a different attack type.

EE - Which element you want that weapon to have. 00 and 06 are blank elements. Anything greater than 07 gives a weird symbol instead of an element.

## - How many abilities/skills you want that particular piece of gear to have. You can have 0 - 6 slots.

S1-S6 are the skills you can set for that item. See below for corresponding skills to use with equipment types. Any slot that has a 46 as its skill refers to a blank skill that is not in use.

The 0? refers to how many times that skill has been upgraded. 00 means it has 1 point, 01 has 2 points, 02 has 3 points (maxed out)
The 0P value is how many upgrades you have left. You don't need to play with this if you've already fiddled with the previous values.

The 11 value... doesn't seem to do anything as far as I can tell. Nothing devastating anyway.

Warning, Wall of Text.

Item Type +2C is the Next Gear Slot (This accounts for all pieces of gear, including horses)

00-AB Weapons (Depends on which character is in play, if you use the wrong value it gives you a different Attack Stat for the weapon as the weapon belongs to a different character) The 4th weapon will have a varying Weapon type, being Normal, Power or Speed depending on who it belongs to.

I don't know who weapons 94-9B belong to, but the numbers next to them is the attack power stat. The order is Normal, Power, Speed as usual. The indicator on the 4th weapon is what type of weapon that particular one is for those 8.

Hmm... I wonder if you can "overupgrade" them (04+).

Back in SW 2, you can.

Tried it. The game ignores your 'upgrade' when you change the point value to anything >2.

Ah, okay thanks.

I'm going to guess that you can "cross equip" weapons or the game will freeze (equipping a weapon not from that character).

Arudo

#69
'Cross-Equipping' Only affects the weapon's stats. It'll change the Attack power that the weapon has and that's about it.

You can technically cross-equip 4th Weapons if you want a Power or Speed one instead of a Normal depending on which character you're playing as.

Example: I'll use Yukimura and Keiji

00 Aeon Spear
01 Crimson Spear
02 Mythril Spear
03 Dragon Tail

04 Ogre Horn
05 Dragon Horn
06 Titan Horn
07 Divinity Blade

You can set Yukimura's weapon from 00 to 07, and you'll get Dragon Tail on Yukimura's screen as the listing. The only difference will be that the Stats for it will be different.

Just don't cross-equip Armor/Gauntlet/Boots and their skills.

*edit* Ooookay... I did something royally messed up from the looks of it.

I wanted to make Keiji's Divinity Blade into a Speed weapon, so I gave him the Shiranui (Kunoichi's)

His animations are still the same regarding his attacks, however he's now holding two swords and it looks... kinda weird.

Oops.

You can give them any weapon, however some weapons won't let you hit the enemy. And hex values 94-9B are blank weapons, leaving your character unarmed and thereby ineffectual.

What have I done? Muhahahaha.

Horrible horrible things...

And the ladies aren't safe as well.

I think that I remember, in Orochi, even though you only had eight ability spots, we added the hex value of more than eight and they were still active even though you couldn't see them.  The hidden Quake element was found during all that too, which is an awesome element.  Anyway, it would be nice if we could somehow turn on all the abilites somehow.  I'm glad you got bored and tinkered more with these.  As far as Koei games go, with this, I think every one of the warriors games since SW 1 and DW 4 now has a weapon mod.  except the ps3 dw6/sf.

Arudo

Can't have more than 6 slots in this one since the next hex bits are related to the ability's strength.

ah, i see.  I'm actually having trouble gettin these to work.  Has anyone else reported/tested these out? There shouldn't be anything you have to do in game to activate them.  hmmm....I'm using gecko os to load the game and cheats.  I'll try a different launching method.

What are you having issues with? I'll try to explain it if you tell me what you inputted. Having the actual address itself will not do anything just as an FYI.

Tested it just now and yeah, weapon switching time!

Now to check which weapon type fits (or makes it broken) to each character.

Feel free to ask on making it work.
