How to hack VC games again on Wii 4.3

Instructions
1.Select IOS36, install IOS41.
2.Select IOS41, downgrade IOS15
3.Select IOS15, go to the IOS36 menu, install patched IOS36 (trucha + identify) to IOS36.
4.Select IOS41, restore IOS15.
youll want to get NUS downloader to get these neccessary files:

IOS15-64-v257.wad
IOS15-64-v1031.wad
IOS36-64-v3607.wad
IOS37-64-v5662.wad
IOS41-64-v2835.wad

i just had to share my findings with those who have run into my same problem.

You might want to mention *why* this is necessary.

In order for Gecko OS to load VC games, you need an IOS with the sign bug.  Normally we downgrade IOS15, patch the bug back into an IOS, and then upgrade IOS15 back to normal.  However, 4.3 has made it difficult to downgrade IOS15.  As a result, some persistent hacker found out that some Korean IOS can still be exploited...hence IOS41 as part of the process now.

ok, so i did the first step, install IOS41. then it exited out of the Trucha Bug Restorer. i went back into it but i couldn't figure out how to do step 2, select IOS41. all i can do is install it again.....

ahh never mind. didn't realize i could change it with left/right on d-pad.....

ok, now i have a real problem........when i try to select IOS15 i get an error message. says Exception (DSI) occurred! then a lot of numbers/letters. then it says stack dump: followed by more letters/numbers with an arrow between each one. then the last says code dump with more of the same.......

everytime i go to iso15 it says downgrade fialed restore fail i cnt do anything i need the wad files im assuming if so plz put a link where i can find the wads thx :D

Don't ask for wads.  We aren't allowed to share Nintendo's copyrighted property.

However, you can use NUS downloader to get the files from Nintendo's servers.
