That unlock quests code unlocks regular star quests up to the character's HR, too. You might need to complete/fail a quest to update HR. I had to mark the urgents "done" for them to show up along with the regular quests, not sure how this will affect the advanced quests yet. I wanted to post in the testing area, but there's a pretty high post-count limit there...

And yeah, there should be a more elegant solution for the status codes. I don't have a reason to want the status to be applied to more than 1 monster at a time though. I'll see if I can find an address in the 80s that achieves a similar goal. Thanks very much for the tip about the distance between monsters, and for testing the tranq status! And yep, fatigue is 0 stamina.

I don't really understand what you mean by tranqing them with no traps... so the monster would be automatically captured when you press a button?

Yeah. Something has to be checking for the requirements for a capture. Make it always branch, or not branch. It'll probably only be running when the hp is low.

That's quite a code you got there. Too massive for my tastes XD. One thing that can be done is make them one hit status or whatever, but while holding a button(ik. corny). Damage has to be handled somewhere. Hopefully the same place for all monsters or at least some offset from wherever near the monster, and also hopefully not the same place player damage is stored. It's just a hunch. It's probably thrown in some stack frame or something >.>. Hopefully not. Cuz then you could check if dmg = 0 and branch to the end of the code if so, but if damage is happening, then if button is pressed, do the hack. I'll go see what can be done and post if I find something nice.

Hey guys i have a quick question and sorry if my problem is already ansered. Im using some codes like al swords,knife,hammer,armour, 8 places or pages(800slots item&equip) cha-cha etc.

the game works fine but when i'm doing an offline mission i can do whatever i want but the time limit won't count down? so even if i complete the main objective the time stil keeps frozen, i can move and run, listen to the victory theme but it stays right there... :confused:   could someone please tell me wich code(s) is responsible for this? btw i would like to know wich codes are recommended ? you know those dat are fun or usefull without causing any errors or freezing the time limit  ;D. sorry for my bad english

I did mark the Infinite time for Arena < AND Quests  :eek: :o < very stupid from me i hope this was my problem, i'm going to test it right now! Thank you for replying.  ;D


EDIT: Infinite Time Arena & Quests was the problem, it says press Z+1 to end mission but it doens't work for me...i don't care now i delete this and enjoy the game  :)

Use my perfecter inf time instead. It disables itself at the end of the quest.

You may want to combine suicide and action repeater together.  Action repeater is fun by itself, but then I died and there needed to be a suicide code after that.

Bully's speedhack is nice, his moonjump with antigravity is nice as well. He also has a freefly to accompany them, but it's aligned with the map instead of your camera. But freefly is up there with action repeater.

How does inf/instant rage sound? Monsters have regen during rage? Health multiplier(also a monster code). Map attached to HUD. I don't understand why people don't want to turn their hud off. It looks so much better without it. I'd understand the fact that it's bootleg and the map doesn't pop up when you look at your "items", but that's what this code fixes. Turn your hud off. You only need it when you get hit hard. These are my codes. Unfortunately it's not in the db. You gotta find them in my previous posts.

Skillers Weapon mods are fun. Wyvern Blade "Verde", anyone? Oh and now you can rename them too. I is awesome. :D

That's about it. I use MID as well, but that doesn't add fun. And a couple of codes that I'd rather keep to myself. No big deal though. Hope you have fun. Looking for the codes as well as using them. >.<

So I took a look at Skiller's roller code for the pouch, and noticed that code used an address for button activators that function very similarly to the delta activators dcx2 had described, even though they don't look like them. So, combining what I've learned from Skiller's roller code with what I've learned from dcx2's example roller code for that GC game, I can now replace my imprecise roller with a precise one, so each click is now registered as exactly one click. Thanks, folks!

Wow I thought this was dead, I'm impressed the hexers are still going at it.

Alright hexers, we've got everyone moon jumping and teleporting now give us the one that allows your hunter to do a rocking power slide.

That'll be my request, otherwise thanks for sharing the Talisman modifiers so many months ago.

Edit: Actually, that animation where the hunter gets knocked over (usually a tail whip hit to the back) and falls into a slide might work- unfortunately I wouldn't know where to begin on that.

Ha, this code makes you die with any hp altering.
It´s only 1 line. Suicide is supposed to take effect instantly, does your shortened version, stuff?
Also, who cares about having -1 lines through struggle in the end? One can use 4XXX code lines due to the extended codeslist. >.<

If I suicide 3 times, the quest is lost.

yeah the shortened suicide is instant death. That's the point of it >.<. Someone was telling me it wasn't working though >.>. I tested it on 3 resets... Daredevil mode isn't what I was hoping for. At some point it has to say "death, subtract 1 retry". Looking for unlimited retries might lead to the death instruction.

I'm pretty much done with mh3. I'm just messing with MID atm. There's not much else I want to see and people don't request for anything but ftw codes. Inf rage/stamina and hp multiplier were requests from the same person. Guess I should move on to another game. I do have a small to do list that isn't complete, but idk if I want to complete it. Stuff like point n click for the ingame kb while using the classic controller, R is shift, can't talk to that lady in the armory(goddam she's annoying). Then there was figuring out how peco's stat buffs work. Might be able to fill in those attack and defense values in MID. There was a speed hack for monsters on Youtube. But I never found a code for that. Probably modifying Slow-mo or freeze monsters[Doudley]?

@Confidence-Man: I didn't see that post earlier. >.< That sounds like fun. Maybe we can do some funky stuff with a get knocked back code(Doudley already posted a no knock back code. How hard can i be to do the opposite.) and some kind of combination with Bully's freefly. You should try that out. It's loads of fun. If it was camera oriented, I'd have it on always. I'll probably make a video to show it's awesomeness.

But that reminds me. I also wanted a "touch attack" code. Where contact with the enemy does damage. Like in megaman. With a push back of course. But I wanted it for the player to do damage. I made action repeater turbo itself and if there was a touch attack, it would've been awesome. Dunno where to start, though.

I had plenty of fun while looking for this though. Initially, I did auto-fail XD. Turned that into can't fail and it was incredibly amusing. I had to send Freefly for some fun. Anyway, retries still go up, but the game checks your reward money instead of continues.

At this point, I went through about 4-6 cycles of FF lives each(action repeater). If you somehow manage to die enough times to make your reward equal 0x80000000....idk what your doing. >.> That's alot of deaths, man. The highest paying quest isn't even 6 bytes of money.

New control pad digits for wiimote:

I liked this one so I picked it. But there were 2 more. This one is like the wiimote anytime from before. It works even if you have the CC attached. Of course, Z and C won't work if your using the CC >.>. But they do work if you were using the nunchuk. And this one uses the regular button digits we're used to. So A is 0800, not 0200. The only thing is it doesn't have a "delta activator" anywhere. But the wiimote's motion is around there. :p Probably the pointer position too. I don't have the sensor attached, so I didn't see. And another thing is it turbo activates. XD

I don't think this works. Found this searching for knockback and didn't find anyone complain about it not working or a fix in a later post. So I fixed it before testing it, cuz why would a C2 ending with a bne- work. But then I made it a 04. Should accomplish the same effect.

Ya if u look at added a little tiny counter that makes sure it only goes up by 1 i beleave it was every 5 frames or something i set it to i cant remember it counts to 5 before placing the value that is to be placed :P

Good to see everythings still goin on here and that the work me and the rest of the hackers have done has been able to be carried on good work guys:)

Thanks for all the time you've put into finding those addresses! And yeah, a counter if code for the regular button activators would be enough for rollers, the counter can set code execution status to false for all frames except 1 where a value = button activator. That combination is actually better than using the delta activators, since the user gets to choose the order of button presses.

Skiller's list of weapon/armor mod codes is so enormous and so many people have trouble with it, that I think it needs a gui. So I'm gonna do that. Here's what I have so far. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24514984/modcodes.htm

I'll be putting my rename stuff codes in there too and include optimization checks so nobody has to think about whether or not they should use the pointer redirect ones or the direct overwrite ones. I'll also shorten it by removing the QQ*4+SSSSSSSS. I plan on covering box mod codes too. And talisman creation(biggest "how i does dis" code) with an option for only legit talismans if it's not too much work. That's why if you look at the source, you'll see 746 option tags that aren't being used. C++ did that for me...I'm sure there's a better way, though. It's actually almost finished. I think the design is the hardest part. I just gotta add a few boxes and labels and program the output button to do it's thing. It's gonna be bootleg in ie cuz I don't give a fudge.
