Totally worked. In hindsight it makes sense to change the only 1 to 3 tho. Coulda had a V8......

Could i get codes for armor skills?

i tried the one on the wiird code database
this one:

Activate Armor Skills for All Helmet [Doudley]
28?????? 0000XXXX
0203F1E0 00000005
E0000000 80008000
2803F1E0 00000005
0888EA56 0000YY32
108B0018 00000000
0888EA58 YY32YY32
208B0018 00000000
0888EA5C YY32YY32
208B0018 00000000
E0000000 80008000
The code should be activated before going to quest, YY is Skill Type.

ALL CODES ARE BASED FROM SKILLER'S EQUIP MOD CODES.
NOTE: You may also produce two or more set of skills by copying an "Activate Armor Skill" code and replacing the digits (03F1E0 0000????) with your own, just be sure to use a different value from what I've already used.
All skill type can be found at the Mod Digits page (Talismans Skill Digits)

but when i try them
it does the opposite! i get -6 armor skill points on them!

these are some of the codes i tried (just in case i typed wrong)

286593DC 00000080
0203F1E0 00000001
E0000000 80008000
2803F1E0 00000001
0888F78E 00002F32
10810018 00000000
0888F790 2F322F32
20810018 00000000
0888F794 2F322F32
20810018 00000000
E0000000 80008000

286593DC 00000080
0203F1E0 00000002
E0000000 80008000
2803F1E0 00000002
088903D6 00002432
107B0018 00000000
088903D8 24322432
207B0018 00000000
088903DC 24322432
207B0018 00000000
E0000000 80008000

daijoda

What kind of results do you want to see? Why do you change the "05" to "01"/"02"? And why do you use the same value for the YYs?

lol yeah. I did kind of think "just change that 1" but I wanted to make sure, so I ran the code through PyiiASMH, cuz you never know.

@ygdhfsdg2007:http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,5476.msg57143.html#msg57143 I believe that logic applies to anything regarding skill points. So try 10(that's 16.00 in hex) if you want 6 points. So 00-0A should be -10-0.

heyyy  :)
the armor and weapon modding codes are very cool and my question is....is there a way modding items too?
like...making a potion heal max and gives atk+def bonus? changing names/description and rarity of items?

http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,5476.msg73670.html#msg73670
I haven't done descriptions yet. I forgot I was gonna do those next. Or rather, I got hit with massive laziness. :p. But those are in the 80s. I guess I could check that dump and see if +64 to everything works for PAL. If I get to it, I'll post that in the PAL thread.(got a dump for pal's 80, ran my main() and got the same exact text file, according to Word. So they the same) Also, these are the English names. But if anyone wants to dump 80, I'll gladly output rename codes for each other language. The one Bully linked to was in German or something. The English table didn't even exist. Guess I could start with that, though. Not sure what happens in a different language. idk how to change the language settings in this game. >.>

Changing the rarity might not be too hard. idk where those are at, but can't be hard to find. And I don't think changing the functions are gonna be too easy. I think messing with the asm would be the way to go. I myself wanted to be able to wide range everything. I had no idea what I was doing at the time, though. I still don't, but at least I know more. You can see the fail here:

http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,5476.msg71888.html#msg71888
I'm trying to think how I breakpointed for these....I have no idea, man.

I also what to add functions to the ERR items. Since they are nothing, might as well use that for modifications. Similar to what I think about ??? weapons. I really want those ERRs to do stuff like "nearcaster" or "Super Ultra OD Large Barrel Bomb Extreme", so it's gonna happen at some point. But not now.

That's unfortunate. I haven't actually used armor skill codes myself. So idk for sure how it works.

Stuff

For moonjump, just change the activators. The 28662928 and the 2865B89C. idk about freefly though. :/

nvm, Bully. This moonjump already does that, sort of. The forward jump part.
86900003 42000000
Is that the extra height of the jump? would be nice to remove that landing effect, but I could eat for Lander instead.

The freefly had me dying of laughter. But directions are based on the map. up/down/left/right on the map. Think it's possible to base the direction on the camera's position? So it could be up/down/left/right the way it was expected. Would also be nice to use the analog. Dunno if you want to get into too much detail with that.

idk why, but moonjump doesn't work in the village. I think it's a ntsc-u thing. :/fixed
Also controll pad digits. These must match. Well only the village one. the code was working in quests with this wrong, but it's a good idea to keep the quest one matching as well. Or risk exploding your wii. :p

@Stuff:
Idk what you mean with "can you make the moonjump work like this one". What about using doudleys moonjump then?
What´s wrong with mine?
---

One should find the camera position value. It´s a float for sure :P
I thought about disabling it, too. It somehow sucks when freefly´ing.
There are no reasonable buttons for it. I tried to use Nunchuck to fly, but there´s no Nunchuck activator I could find.

@Shad:

Anti Gravity [Bully@Wiiplaza]
2865B89C FFBF0040 # toggle with minus (yes, the button values are different on that activator address!)
04254BE4 D01F0040 # off
CC000000 00000000
04254BE4 60000000 # on
E0000000 80008000

it´s all PAL again, sry.
But anyone could port them...I´ll probably do.
There´s no talk on the PAL thread though... :-\

Stuff

Bully, I ported them. They're in the spoilers. lol. I even explained the button activators for freefly. And fixed it cuz CC's right is 8000 and cmpwi is signed. It just doesn't work in the village for some reason...that was gonna be the best part. :/

Your moonjump is nice. I just like that curve doudley's code does. It looks more natural. I made the jump higher with fadd 42400000. cuz without antigravity the jump was kind of small. Now if only I could fall at the same speed that I jumped... You kind of just fall mad fast.

A float you say? I wonder if I saved those search results... I was looking for it before and found some scary numbers. lol. I didn't see the camera move with the wiimote. nunchuk activators? like the analog stick? 8065B89C(PAL) next to it is some nasty numbers that correspond to the nunchuk analog. There has to be a better one though... cuz it's nasty for this one. up and down are 1 byte, left and right are another byte.... -something to -1 for one direction, 1 to something for the opposite direction....at least it calcs the sensitivity. XD

i gave up trying the codes i just posted but i did get talisman codes
which activates 2 skills
it would've been better to have 8 skills
but i guess im being too greedy

i chose windproof and earplugs (which are the most important)

You mean activate as in added points to them or fully activates them?
Cause I'd love to have that code. I can only get so many points to a skill based on it's category.
The code I used will give you a blank talisman if you don't input it right.
The best I have made was Psychic +7/ perception +3 w/ 1 slot.

The best I have made was Psychic +7/ perception +3 w/ 1 slot.

it activates as in added points with 20 points (lol)

this code is made by someone who is not Arudo -> [Skiller]
(so don't thank me)
This is the code (the talisman appears in Slot 800)

4A000000 90000000
100E38E4 00000006 <- Determines that it is a Talisman
100E38E5 00000001 <- Determines Slots (needs at least 1 if you want two skills)
120E38E6 000000XX <- Determines Talisman Type Pawn - Dragon etc.
100E38E8 000000Y2 <- Determines Strength of Skill2 + A(10)
100E38E9 000000Y1 <- Determine Strength of Skill1 + A(10)

120E38EC 000000Z1 <- Skill 1
120E38EE 000000Z2 <- Skill 2
