ya thats been talked about all over this thread about them codes i Put it in one of my posts when i made the codes .. and so did some others that messed with the codes after ..

Maybe the reason it's always active is because of those 2 lines before the button activator... It seems the first 2 lines do all the work, I am not sure what the rest of the code does... For the first 2 lines:

04293AE0 C002FDD0 -- "lfs f0,-14184(r2)" -> "lfs f0,-560(r2)"
042951CC C022FDEC -- "lfs f1,-14184(r2)" -> "lfs f1,-532(r2)"

So if you want to make a toggle between code and anti-code, you can just reverse the values:

I just used Skiller's code for the NTSC-U version to look up the values...

042703AC 41800004
042703B0 3800xxxx

At the first address the original value is "blt- 0x802703b8", or "4180000C", which I presume is where the game goes and looks up weapon & attack up items currently on you. But I don't know what the first line of the code does? Whatever it does, it seems to have the effect of ignoring the original instruction...

At the second address the original value is "li r0,700", or "380002BC".

So the anti-code for NTSC version would be:

042703AC 4180000C
042703B0 380002BC

If the one you have is the exact same code just in a different version of the game, then you can use the same values at your addresses.

That looks like the one in the NTSC-U db by Skiller. But it doesn't work in the village ;_;. I don't really care for speed in quest.

Go to the pal thread. I know it's dead, but I like to have some sort of organization. It's very confusing when you have pal codes in a ntsc-u thread. I'll go there for all your on/off requests if this worked. It should work though. If it's not enough to rewrite the value where the branch is was, then idk.

This code is amazing. When was it added? I'm about to look in that area and see if there's anything on the area your in as well. Imagine teleporting from area 11 back to area 3. XD. I wonder if you can do a check for if the last saved position was in quest(if the areas thing can happen) so you don't end up making the wii explode by accidentally teleporting back to a quest. Or worse. From Volcano to the underwater arena. XDDD. But the code is massive and I needed to shorten it to fit it in my limited code space.

1.) Right undo code. it does work in village + quest.
If one does not press the sprint button, speed hack is off. I thought when doing this code, yes. :rolleyes:

I think it won´t since there´s no terminator after the first activator...

The teleporter works in villages aswell xDDDD
I did this per purpoise.
If you teleport from a quest into an older one, you might end up in an abyss.
You need to leave the quest or get out of the abyss using my moonjump code xD

The shortened code does work. I did the "add 1 to the address to apply 1 endif". For both activators you were doing the same load pointer and DE. So may as well do it before the button activators.

Skillers code is clearly different.

Mine is a read breakpoint.
His is a write breakpoint.
Mine additionally works on village. His only in offline single player quests.
Same code lengh.

All in all, one could say that mine has significant advantages over his.
I just simply create some codes and post them up. I don´t care about the 30.000 codes mess.
I did not use Skiller´s code as base. I found that address long ago, maybe even before Skiller did.
In former times I did not know enough about ASM to create the village compatible version.
Mine is not just doing the same.

I can make it shorter, but you´ll lose the ability to stop the speed-up.
Does my code mess up your 220 codeslines limit?
The lengh is pretty much optimised and I don´t think that there are so many more useful codes than this 5-liner... :o
