After reading this http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp#copyrights emulators really do promote piracy even if I use them with my own stuff. I just use emulators because PC is more accessible to me, my dream is to be a game developer someday, so I do have a great respect for games. From now on I'm not gonna support emulators and I'm going to remove all my posts and codes regarding to game platform emulation.

Hello all, new member here, but have been lurking for a while.  First of all thanks to everyone for the awesome codes, I've been using the item mod codes successfully,

Now I'm trying to move on to making custom talismans, and I've followed this code to a T (+7 Evade 00 Dragon Talisman) :

Details of the issue:

1.  Put random talisman in slot 400 of equipment box, save.  (in my case I used a regular rare 2 or 3 talisman, the one that's colorless)
2.  Reload through Gecko to apply code.
3.  Character loads fine, I go to my box and open equipment box.
4.  Reach page 4, and I see the talisman I put still there, still colorless.
5.  As soon as I scroll my pointer down to the last row (where slot 400 is), the game freezes.

I tried this twice and similar results, then I removed the talisman and tried again, also got the freeze.

Now, my question/s:

1.  Does a talisman need to be there in slot 400 to modify or does this code generate a talisman?
2.  Is the code I'm using wrong in any way?
3.  Why am I getting the freeze?
4.  Am I supposed to find a same class talisman and put it in slot 400 to modify?  Ie.  I am trying to make a 2 slot Evade +7 Dragon talisman, do I need to put a random Dragon talisman in there to modify in the first place?

Sorry for the noobish questions, but this is my first foray into Wiird codes and any help will be much appreciated.

Ive got a problem with Custom Talis too
Ive tried to make a Load +3 0  Talisman  but for some reason the +X amount is never 3
I used the HEx 3 and 33 but it seems that they are both wrong :S
Can someone tell which Hex i have to use?

Answers:

1. No, that code will overwrite any item you have in that particular slot.

2. If this is the code you are using the one you posted then the code is fine.

3. IDK, It could be something to do with the other codes you are using...

4. No, you don't have to place a same type of talisman in the slot you are modding, if you just want to modify the item in that particular slot then you shouldn't have to put all the codes for Equipment Box slot 400.

Example: If you only want to change the talisman type then you should only use this code...

EDIT: Use this http://geckocodes.org/index.php?arsenal=3 You need to add 10 (dec) to the amount you want, then convert it to hex.

The parts bolded I changed myself and I completely forgot what other line had to be changed... I changed the joker triggers from the Wiimote to the Classic Controller and I dunno which other line I need to change to make the code work. I figured it out before but that saved TXT file is gone. ><

As you can see, he moved the skill in "Skill type#1"  to "Skill type#2" because he changed the tali slots to 2 instead of just 1.
Same as yours, you 2 slots instead of 1, so you need to move your skill.
