Oh good, cause i wanted to ask how the Talisman code for RMHE08 works. It didn't work for me so maybe i did something wrong. I'll post my edited code.

01 = Slots, possible options are 00, 01, 02, 03
XX = Talisman Equipment Mod Digits.
Y1 = Skill Modifier #1
Z1 = Skill # 1 Strength (10+ Amount sought in hex)
Y2 = Skill Modifier #2
Z2 = Skill #2 Strength (10+ Amount sought in hex)

Using this code, i made:

I was aiming for a Dragon talisman, 3 slots,
with Freeelement and Hearing but it didn't appear.
The 8 pages item box code never worked for me either,
not that i need it anymore but i'm just saying.

Then I went back a few pages and saw weird Talisman-related stuff.
So yeah, someone just tell me what I'm doing wrong.

If there are limits, is it the:

1 Skill +7 with 2 slots (Queen or better)
2 Skills, +10 and +7 with 1 Slot (King or Better)
3 Slots (Dragon only)?

Hello hows it going. I recall in Freedom Unite alot of the Japanese version weapons/armors that got taken from the American version were still in the game data as "Dummy" equips. Now for example skillers code:

Slot 270 Equip Mod [Skiller]

120E200E 0000005D< this is modifier for "lions bane GS"

in slot 270 of equipment box you would see a lions bane GS. but there are alot of equip modifier codes that are labled "N/A" weapons and do not work when i check em out. Are those some Japanese weapons we are getting screwed over for in the yet again intentionally watered down American version? or just unused Hex codes?


anyways.. does anyone have the hex codes/modifier digits for the Japan only weapons? [like lightning works, pirate axe true cutter etc.] and "dummy" eqips? or did the Japanese go through the hastle of removing the data completely.. im just looking to see the weapon designs in game because they look pretty sweet.

Does the 1hp really help sever\break. It seems to take just as many hits

doudley, and Skiller, thank you both for the tip on Equipment Digits, I finally got a chance to try the mods of a bowgun, and they seem to be working.

I don't think a talisman can have 3 slots AND 2 skills simultaneously. That's 5 "things" in total (3+2)... I think you can have at most 3 "things" in a talisman.
- 3 slots, no skills
- 2 slots, 1 skill
- 1 slot, 2 skills

Go to the farm, in the cave.   You don't need a code, just an explorers sense heh.

Just giving this one a bump the same thing happen to me. Damn was I freaking 50hours down the drain. Though there was one weird thing that has been happening that's not address in the previous post. Which is the fact that when I'd come back from a quest the day would not progress. If I started the quest in the day when I come back it would still be daytime. Is this normal at this time? Really sucks for my fleet. Though if I hunt in moga woods time does progress.

Hi everyone. Please skip to the bottom if you don't want to be subjected to my wordy posting habits.

This is my first post here, so I would like to say: I genuinely appreciate all of the effort that the people here put into the process of code-making and I respect the time and energy required of them to do so. It has saved me a lot of time in real-life to have access to some of the work that people have put together here, and I am very grateful for that. To any one of those contributors who is reading this: thank you very much.

Unfortunately, however, I am not very good with code making and I only really understand how to manipulate/insert jokers (button activators? - I guess I'm not concrete on the terminology) and change quantities (e.g. I generally know how to change "have 10 of X" to something like "have 14 of x"). I also do not own a USB gecko nor do I have much confidence that I could figure out what I would like to do with one. In particular, I would like to have a button/key remapper as I like some of the options that CC1 grants and I like some of the ones that CC2 grants but I am unhappy with aspects of both; i.e., "the claw" camera control makes my hand miserable. Is there someone here who would be willing and capable to make a code like this, or someone who is able to point me in the direction of an existing one? I have had no luck in my very lengthy searches thus far.


tl;dr I'd really love to have a button remapper/key reassigner so that I can make custom control schemes. Does anyone know of one or would anyone be willing to make one?

Okay, i'd like to make a few super specific charms, but i'm a little confused on how the charm mod works. I see there is a place for slots, type, and 2 skills. However, what i don't see is the where to modify the amount you want on the skills. For example i want a 2 slot, critical draw +7, Dragon talisman, but i don't know how to make that exactly Critical Draw+7.
