Zorai, learn your hexadecimal.

63 in hex is 99. 64 is 100.

99 in hex = 153.

No skill in a talisman even needs to go that high. Most of them top out at between 10-20.

Ok, I gotcha.

Zorai_Kun

Anyone know if you can make a tali that modifies the same skill twice? Like:

Dragon tali
+15 stun
+15 stun
1 slot

Also, from what I'm getting, the max for any skill mod (when making custom talis) is +20... Right?

Arudo

You can make it higher than 20, but it's not necessary. Just like making it so it has Stun twice...

Who wouldn't want Stun +99 though? Or Paralysis.

EDIT: Because it doesn't work...

I'm still wondering about the Weapon Always Sharp code.  Max sharpness is PURPLE.  Is this still a code request board?

Always sharp means you dont have to sharpen it, it doesnt increase sharpness.

Alright, Ill request a Max Weapon Sharpness code.  This will also make Handicraft useless allowing you to free up a skill slot in your charms if you use Handicraft.  I believe purple sharpness reduces the chance of your weapon bouncing so I believe this code to be very useful, this is what I remember from MHFU.

I can do that very easy :P

Each level of sharpness adds more damage and more cutting potential. Purple sharpness can cut pretty much anything, the only thing ive seen it bounce on so far is Urugaan's chin, it even cuts clean through Altaeron. So having max purple sharpness is always a plus. Pretty much any weapon worth using already has white sharpness, and handicraft adds on the purple. Freeing up a skill slot would be nice though. I still love my holy trinity. Sharpness +1, Attack Up (L) and Critial Eye +3. Damage out the ass XD

I want to apologize, I feel like my last post was unpleasent.  I posted this request a few times and only got one response and no codes so I got alittle frustrated.  So again, I'm sorry.

Thank you Skiller I'll be looking forward to that max sharpness code.

Personally, I think affinity mods are MUCH more important and sought out than sharpness mods...

But yet again, that's just me.

I agree, I posted both requests a few pages back.  I think affinity mods would be tougher to get than a sharpness one.

Apokolypse

99% of the time, affinity will give you a higher damage output than sharpness. The only reason sharpness is even remotely important is for the bounce prevention, and the fact that the damage boost is a constant. That being said, both are still extremely important to any blademaster. All of the previous MH games have had sharpness and affinity mods, so it shouldnt be too difficult for this, though not like i know much about it XD

Jack

Actually, affinity will almost never give more damage then sharpness.  A critical hit is only 25% extra damage.  Even if it were possible to hit 100% affinity that means your damage is increased by 25%.  So, 50% affinity means 12.5% increase and 25 affinity means 6.25% increase.  Most weapons don't even have any base affinity either.  Going from white sharpness to purple sharpness is about 13% damage increase not counting the increase in elemental damage if any.  Also, Green to blue is 14% and blue to white is 10%.

suratek

I don't think damage or precents matter here.  What matters is which cheat is easier to produce.  Since I'm sure Skiller is flooded with requests, making a purple sharpness cheat would be much easier than getting the affinity cheat.  Since he already has a Weapon Always Sharp code which I believe was made while using a low level weapon.  He can do the same thing except with a weapon that has purple sharpness.

Well I feel like a fool.  I assumed that the Weapon Always Sharp code would give me green sharpness for all weapons.  I still stand by my request though, it would be nice to have all weapons at purple sharpness.

Apokolypse

Im just saying that to most an affinity cheat would be more important because 90% of all people on this board have white and purple sharpness weapons already, so most would want an affinity cheat over sharpness. Hell, just make a talisman with +20 expert and +15 handicraft, theres your sharpness and affinity haha.

Oh and the event quests have been announced =)
