I just grabbed the code that gives Autotracker and Capture Guru Talisman.
I am now free to choose my armor, and not 'limited' to Hunter's because I use it for those 2 skills ^^.
The "Farsight" skill is a nice perk, but not 'essential'.
Knowing where the big boys are, and if they're ready for capture however, are very nice skills.
Especially with me preferring to capture instead of kill.

There is already a code to track wyverns, why put it on your talisman?  I wish there was a code for the capture guru thing...I always hate trying to guess if I've pwned the wyvern enough to cap it ><

Felyne Exchanger....

This is the only one people would care about.
Agreed!  This one is definitely a top priority out of all of the Felyne skills :)

Anyone care to explain custom talismans?

I'm confused....they're talismans, and they're custom?  How hard is that?  There are at least 3 posts in this thread that dumb down quite nicely the explanation of how to create your own talismans.  It's really not hard at all.

Yes well, we have quite a big thread on our hands here.

Page 66, took me about 30 seconds to find:

Ok first a disclaimer, I did not do very much aside from picking apart what others had already previously created, putting it together, and then having an "AH thats it!" moment myself.  Second, this information is only meant for offline use... besides I think any low rank who has sharpness+1 and awaken +1 is gonna get found out at some point online, but anyways here it is.

Rook Talisman with +15 Handicraft and +15 FreeElement, 1 Empty Slot in Equipment Slot # 399

4A000000 90000000
140E2618 06010004
140E261C 19190000
140E2620 0050000B
140E2624 00000000
E0000000 80008000

Now to break it down:

Item Type = 06 (MUST be 06 for a Talisman)
Slots = 01 (01, 02, or 03)
Talisman Type = 0004
Statistics Level = 1414 *First # is second stat[slot3], second # is first stat[slot2]
(0[Hex 00] = -10, 5[Hex05] = -5, 10[Hex0A] = 0, 15[Hex 0F] = 5, 20[Hex 14] = 10, 25[Hex 19] = 15, 30[Hex 1E] = 20)
Deco/Slot 1 Modifier = 0000 (Empty Slot in Example)
Deco/Slot 2 Modifier = 0050 (FreeElement in Example)
Deco/Slot 3 Modifier = 000B (Handicraft in Example)
Last line 00000000 is needed otherwise 0B is read as a new item, don't ask me why...I would simply say the game was never meant to be manipulated this way.

All I did was combine Argon's screenshot with skiller's post on page 58.  Man seriously if I had access to a USB Gecko I could make this game do anything...keep the screenshots of memory entries coming! lol.

EDIT: Remember that the slots always take precedence, if you put in 2 slots instead of 1, the first 2 modifiers are GOING to be slots and not stats.

http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MH3:_Armor_Skill_List lists all of the skills and what levels you need to activate them.

Note: Torso UP is only meant to be used with 0A stat modifier, anything else is an incorrect usage, even though it still works.

The list of what to use for the skills is a couple pages back from that, on page 63:

Edit: Moved this information to a new post.

Not true, Felyne Bulldozer, increases affinity on attack deflection.  Badass skill.

Interesting fact pertaining to "Custom Talismans", "Deco Mods" and skills.
Apparently, only 8 skills can be active at one time.  Anything additional skills are null and don't activate.

For example,  I used Deco and Talisman mods and had a custom setup with Barioth armor.
The skills active were the following:

Evasion +2, Marathon Runner, Cold Cancel (Lo), Sharpness +1, Recovery Speed +2, Sneak, Critical Eye +2, Heat Surge (Lo), Autotracker (Talisman), and Evasion Up (Talisman).

As you see, that's 10 skills altogether, and when I checked, two of them were not displayed and were not active, namely "Sharpness +1", and "Evasion Up".
I had to change some stats, to negate "Cold Cancel" and "Heat Surge" to make the other skills active.

In summary, when customizing skills, only 8 can be active at a time (Excluding Food Skills), so customize accordingly.

I have a dumb question....

On the roller codes how are you supposed to hold left on classic controller and also hit buttons on the nunchuck?
I can only plug one controller in at a time on my Wiimote and I just dont understand how to do this. I am puzzled.. ???

Quoteuse the Analog stick (Left one Classic controller) and the one on the Nunchuck K up and down move u up and down the Type listing and right and left move u up and down the Each weapon in the catagorys

Your code is the one I use lol.  It works perfectly fine for me.  I'm not entirely sure how to use Skiller's equipment codes pertaining to skills and whatnot, yours is very straightforward.

And with food skills that 8 can go up to 12, so hopefully we get food skills figured out because a lot of the different armor skills have equals in the food skills list.

This question has been answered if you would search for instructions. However, to answer your questions straightforwardly, you use the wiimore+nunchuk only. You hold Z, then using the Analog stick on the Nunchuk hold up to scroll. For the equipment roller code, after you've scrolled to find your desired equip type, hold right to scroll through the individual equips of that type.

IF you are trying to make a talisman with 2 skills and 1 slot, you can use this code. I just combined all the bits for Skiller's equip mod into one easy to use code, making crafting a talisman a bit easier (for some I guess).

Z1 = Skill # 1 Strength (10+ Amount sought in hex)
Y2 = Skill Modifier #2 (from list provided by Argon)

Hopefully this is straightforward enough to curb some of the Talisman questions lol.

very odd. I prefer just to make empty deco slots because I DID have a messed up unremovable deco at one point, but ya seems to work fine.

I know this is going to seem stupid as poo. . . And it might not help any one but me. . . But I kinda want a code that will make me lose a ton of munny. I used a max money code and I want to take it off. . .  :)
