Maybe it's not as simple as that.  Maybe he got reported, and then Capcom took a look at the character, and something in his box was evidence enough to ban him.  This is all speculation btw.  I mean, it could be as simple as getting reported by someone and banned immediately.

Oh dear god, there's a quest to CATCH that thing?  That's gotta be a royal pain in the rear!

Many people have been asking for a capture-quest-made-easier code, so I'd imagine it's on Skiller's <long> list of things to do.

lol, I haven't gone too far in the game, but i'm pretty sure there is a capture quest for every boss monster.

Not all of them offline, no. But most of them. You DO have to capture a Lagiacrus offline, same as online. But, take it as, wherever offline quests stopped at (eg., if offline didn't have you capture it) online will, no doubt.

He said he was HR33.  I'm HR31 and I have a Guan Dao equipped. (Made it myself)

I tried just the Carving code, but I would still only get one carve from minions and when I fought a Great Jiggi in the woods I was only able to carve the usual amount.

Try not in the woods?  The code definitely works.  You can only carve until the monster vanishes, though.

Codes definitely work, and they work in the woods as well.  I don't know what his problem is, but I can carve any monster until their body disappears.  You might want to make sure you actually turned those codes ON before loading the game :)

I seriously don't understand why people want codes like this, or the equipment/item roller codes.  Gathering items and making equipment is pretty much what this entire game is about. 

I bet you are the type of person that requests savegame files with 100% complete on games that have only been out for a week.
