Ok from start to finish here it is:

Last night I turned on my wii with USB Gecko Plugged in to both PC and Wii. SD card inserted with of course gecko os 1.9.3.
What happened when first booting Wii up is it went straight to a Black Screen saying: Now Repairing...DO NOT POWER OFF
It continues to say this till I activated the wii remote by pressing the "A" Button. Then it goes to a screen I have seen before when Holding the RESET Button down when turning wii on:
Systemmenu
Homebrew Channel
Installed File

Load/Install File
Systemmenu Hacks
Settings

There is an Important update to v0.30

Update

IOS v60
Systemmenu v449
preloader v0.29

Well I hit Update and it said: downloading changelog...
So I left it alone for about 15 minutes and it went back to the previous screen.
I clicked systemmenu and takes me to wii default system menu.
Next I go to HBC then HBB then Utilities.
I update my HBB from 1.0.3 to 1.0.6.
Then I update gecko os from 1.9.3 to 1.9.3.1
I back out and select Gecko OS app. I make sure my gecko os config. options are set correctly to use the USB Gecko.
Debugger on, SD Cheats -No, Language Default and I force no regions.
I back out to gecko os main menu, go to wiird app on PC and click OPEN to run it, which normally auto launchs game with gecko os. "Never had a problem with this before"
On the Gecko os Screen when it gets to "Loading Game..." it stops with the disc still running in wii and wiird app launchs fine with Title across top after 20 seconds.
I have to unplug the Wii because it will not respond to any remote or console button presses.
I try loading Gecko os only using SD card and Cheat-Yes and everything works fine.
I am at a loss here.... it seems the only thing I can no longer use is the USB Gecko cause the wii screen freezes at "Loading Game..." in Gecko OS when launched with wiird.
Am I suddenly missing an IOS? If I am can I get it back and how would it come up missing in the first place?

EDIT UPDATE: I am able to use "Gecko dotNET" cause I can launch that app after I manually launch gecko os, BUT the search takes lomger than wiird app. also I use the Pointer search sometimes and prefer wiird over gecko dotNET. So it is not a problem with the USB Gecko Hardware, but it seems to be a problem with gecko os and wiird auto launching title and freezing on "loading title..."

You probably have the older version of Gecko.NET, the newest version is faster and more stable than WiiRD. (newest version can be found here)
If you want to use the pointer search you could just click the disconnect button on Gecko.NET and open WiiRD and do your pointer search, if you're ready you can switch back and reconnect.

Also, did you try to load the game through Gecko first, then opening WiiRD?

I tried using gecko.net yesterday and it froze the game randomly when I clicked the disassembler tab
If there's any code at all that you want to be button activated, or even able to toggle on & off, and I have the game, just PM me and I'll make it happen

I will check to see if I have the latest version of gecko dotNET.
As for wiird, the version I have will not connect to the USB Gecko if I launch the game first. For some reason IDK but Gecko dotNET will.

That's really weird, wiiztec...you're the first person to say that.  Were you doing anything before it froze the game?  Sometimes if you set a breakpoint and then cancel it, it "misses" the cancel (I remember WiiRDGUI doing the same thing) and the breakpoint gets hit anyway.  Did you try hitting Run or Reconnect?

wiiztec

I didn't even set a breakpoint and no It wouldn't reconnect

Problem solved.
Sorry but it was so simple.
I was previously using gecko os 1.9.3 and had to launch wiird first then it would auto launch game from gecko os.
I updated to gecko os 1.9.3.1 and now I have to start game first, then open wiird. Crazy things.
