I'm trying to find the IOS' for TBC, and they do not download from inside the app. And I cannot find the goddamn things ANYWHERE online!

Is there an online download for the required TBC v1.1 IOS'?

What do you mean with IOS for Trucha Bug Restorer?

Slithersoul

The IOS36 and IOS15 and another IOS that TBC requires to work.

Romaap

Oh, those.
When I patched one of my friend's IOS36 I just downloaded a complete sofmod pack which included the IOS'es.

If you are trying to completely enable the wii ie softmod it, you need to use TBR or DOP IOS (MOD) to install Trucha Bug, ES Identify, and NAND Permissions on IOS 36. It will automattically download the correct IOSes from NUS (15 and 36) to patch 36 with all 3. Then you need to find a cIOS 249 and install it to patch IOS249 the aka piracy IOS. But it can be used for legit purposes too such as saved game manager. If your Wii is LU64 or lower you can use cIOS Patchmii off of Wiibrew to install a clone of IOS249 that is clean and piracy free that will let you do the legit stuff. If that won't work for you for whatever reason you will have to google search for a cIOS249 as no one will talk about where they can be found for legal reasons, I honestly do not even know myself where to find one, once you find it you will have to install it once if you are on system menu 4.1 or lower and twice if you are on 4.2 (the same is true of cIOS Patchmii). If you are on 4.2 you have to install it once to remove the stub IOS that is there and again to install the actual cIOS249. After you get IOSes 15 36 and 249 done then your Wii is pretty much soft modded other than the system IOS. But that IOS is different for each system version and it is dangerous to patch and only gives you a few more benefits. The system IOS for 4.2 is 61 I believe but you can search Wiibrews forums to find out for sure. If you do patch it with DOP IOS (MOD) I suggest you use a battery backup, like for a pc, cause a power failure during the patch process will brick your Wii. IMO it is better to again use a battery backup, I use one anytime I am patching any IOS, but instead of patching the system menu IOS, use startpatch or better yet startpatch mod. Or if you are really finicky and only want the system menu hacks to be temporary use banana patcher which is even less dangerous. All the system menu patches are dangerous but some more so than others. Just read about them and ask questions on the wiibrew forums if you are unsure. Just be sure you DO NOT have Pre or Prii loader installed and try to patch the system menu if you do you will get a brick. If you have that installed or want it installed your best bet is to DOPIOS (MOD) the IOS, even though it is the riskiest its the only way that it will work. If you do all of this your Wii will be completely hacked and you can do just about anything with it that the hardware will allow, ie if you have the new drive you cannot play dvds or dvd+-r/rw discs.

To summarize you need to mod IOSes 15 36 249 and optionally the system menu IOS but I wouldnt and would use a hack patch so long as you don't have Pre/Priiloader. You can get most of this at wiibrew but a true cIOS249 will have to be googled.

Hope this helps. If you need help or have further questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them. Best of luck to you. Hope all goes well. Talk to you later.

Sincerely,
Elmoreas

P.S. If you have trouble or are unsure about something contact me or go to wiibrew's forums and ask they will help with anything except true cIOS249. I will help you in any way I can.

For anyone who stumbles onto this old topic, Downgrading IOS is obsolete, dangerous, and can brick your Wii.

I direct you to "Patching IOS 36" in this post http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,6843.msg59073.html#msg59073

The basic point is to use Simple IOS Patcher or Multi Mod Manager to patch IOS36.
