I'm a newbie to GeckoOS and using codes for WiiWare/VC so I wanted to ask some questions on how to set things up (so I can at least use codes in FFIV:AY)

1) How do I configure GeckoOS to enable cheat codes for WiiWare/VC?

2) What kind of file is needed by GeckoOS to recognize cheats? The files I have are in txt form downloaded to txtcodes on the root of my SD card but are not recognized.

3) If I must convert txt files to gct, how do I do so?

4) Is there a cheat manager in GeckoOS or will it show itself when codes are detected, so I can choose what codes to turn on and which ones to turn off?

5) Will GeckoOS be fine to use cheats for or is a USBGecko absolutely necessary in order to use codes from WiiRD?

6) What titles are compatible/incompatible with GeckoOS and is there a list somewhere that shows this and if certain settings are needed to get some titles working?

This will help me and a lot of other newbies out, I hope I'm not putting anyone out asking these questions, but I'm somewhat new to the HB scene and have only been used to CUSB.

1. Turn the sd cheat at the options on and put your cheats in .gct on the sd or upload them with an usbgecko

2. gecko patch files or .gct or gameconfig.txt

3.with Code Manager 1.2

4.It detects cheats on sd (all cheats are enabeld they can be disabeld over usbgecko)

5.no you can use cheats but you can´t edit them while playing (it is nessesery to use wiirdgui)

6. Nearly every game works (I don´t know)
sorry for bad english
