i installed bootmii as boot2.since im not the kind of person who's gonna go all out on hacking the wii(i only did it so i could update wii shop channel without updating to 4.2 and in case i get a brick from updating the wii shop channel as it makes changes to NAND)
plus its kind of annoying that every time you turn it on(if your sd is in) you get the bootmii menu and you have to use a gamecube controller or the on/off and reset button togo to the regular menu....

so.........can you???

Yes, in the Hackmii Installer you can uninstall bootmii as boot2. Please be advised the following though:
-overwriting boot2 always comes with risk of a permanent unrecoverable software brick
-removing BootMii won't make the update to 4.2 any safer

The best thing you can do:
-open your SD card
-enter the BootMii folder: open bootmii.ini
Add the following line (or uncomment it):
AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU
BOOTDELAY=5

This means: BootMii will wait 5 seconds and if you do not do any input.. it will continue to the system menu. If you like you can even lower the BOOTDELAY to 2 or so.. that would speed up the process.

The BootMii menu will still appear but you won't have to perform any action to skip it!

so since theres a risk... im better off stuck with it right??......will there ever be an update to this??(so that it doesnt go to the bootmii menu every time)
oh and i dont intend on going to 4.2 any time soon,so idk....

thanks this really helped

Like Link said, you could edit the bootmii.ini file to autoboot to the System Menu after a certain amount of time.  You can also do this on the Wii console by using this application...

BootMii Configuration Editor

If you boot that through the Homebrew Channel/Bannerbomb/etc., you can set it to boot right to the System Menu with no delay, or (I believe) a delay of up to ten seconds.  After ten seconds, the BootMii screen would go away, and the System Menu would start.

Also, like Link said, you can also change that file right on your computer.
