Quote from wiibrew
"GeckoReader is a program to be run under Windows that will open a command prompt and output what it reads from a USB gecko. You must have the USB gecko installed, set up the COM drivers, and have .NET 2.0 for this to work properly. Then whatever buffer is sent from the Wii/Gamecube should pop up on the screen."

if you are going to use the library that comes with geckoreader, you need to change a line.  it worked when i wrote it, but r-win added something and broke it.  in the init function in gecko.c, there is a static variable that should get written "true"  when the gecko init returns true, but it doesn't so that library wont result in anything being written to the screen, as it always acts like there is no gecko.

also, i have a version of sendelf that i cooked up for use with this.  there is a option to send a dol/elf to HBC and right after it is sent, it opens geckoreader.exe to catch anything that the dol might be sending out.  my version assumes that you have a 64bit windows installed, but i can give the source to anybody if they want to edit it and change the directory that it looks to get geckoreader.
