Gecko OS 1.9.2 rebooter?

How to I turen of rebotter in geck os or in orcina??.  I want to use chats in red steel.  But because it is a multi .dol game how do I manage to turn on rebotter?????

no need for the rebooter, just set the hooktype to "OSSleepthread"

Is that hooktype really required? I thought Gecko OS is now multi .dol compatible when launching games normally. (happened somewhen from 1.07b to 1.9)

It isn't required for multi .dol purposes, but OSSleepThread is required when playing a couple of games.

Call of Duty World at War and Red Steel NEED OSSleepThread if I'm not mistaken.

Besides OSSleepThread is the best hook their is anyways. Just set it to default :D

Changing the hook type shouldn't even be necessary, Red Steel should work fine with the default hook type.

The main problem with the OSSleepThread hook type is that on some games it executes the code handler far more often than necessary, and so longer code lists could start to cause noticeable game lag.

I trucha-patched IOS36, but the rebooter does not show up. Any Ideas? I am on System Menu 4.1

Could you try Gecko 1.9.3RC? Gecko 1.9.2 has some issues with detecting ES_Verify and fakesigned IOS36 versions unless you went back to an old IOS36!

I tried with the latest version, and rebooting works! The only thing is... rebooting with hooks does not work. I tried booting into the recovery menu and tried removing copy flags, but they would not work.  ???

Admittedly the removing flags thing is not working anymore in 4.x menu - Preloader is your friend there!

Why not copy the preloader hacks to Gecko OS?

They are easily convertable, you could get the remove disc update check too.(if that's not done already)

It's just some work to type the patches in.
