So I finished the quiz to be able to post codes, and at the end I got a whole bunch of php errors.  The primary problem was that fopen failed because permission was denied.  Then all the calls to fwrite and fclose failed because nothing was opened.  If this is the wrong place to post this, sorry (feel free to delete/move this topic), but I couldn't find anywhere else to post this.  I promise I do have a USBGecko (and I definitely know how to use a debugger).  Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Yeah, I've applied twice and failed because of (I believe) this.

Someone should take a look at that php code.

Thank you.. no PHP error.. it was permission errors :(

Let me guess, the user on your boxen running the PHP code didn't have permissions to access teh directory where you were writing the submissions (I have done that before).

Oh, OK.
Heh, I haven't coded much in PHP. I'm more of a C++ guy. (I know they're completely different in their area of use but still...)

I applied too. And I never got hacker status :(

Is there any other way to prove I am one?

Do the test again. It's working now.

I've applied thrice now (only the last one got through it seems though).
