With the button activater variables, I made a code for Ocarina users that will prevent freezing with the stage modifier code. Here it is:

284DE4B0 00000188
4A000000 90180F08
10000033 000000XX
10000034 000000YY
E0000000 80008000
284DE4B0 00000084
4A000000 90180F08
10000033 00000000
10000034 00000000
E0000000 80008000

Replace XX with the Stage ID of your choice.
Replace YY with the Stage Sub ID of your choice.

Hold D-Pad Up+A while loading a stage. Do not press D-Pad Up+A in mid battle as it will freeze the game.

Press D-Pad Down after the and battle is fully loaded. This deactivates the code, and prevents the game from freezing once the battle is finished.

Another thing to note is that when you are at the stage selection screen, the stage you select will actually determine what music will play on Your stage. For example, if you use this code to play in the wifi waiting room and tell the game to load the Final Destination stage, it will play the Final Destination stage music on the wifi waiting room.

Have fun! :)

Mods, admins, and Pizzaboy: If you have any problem with the legitimacy of this code, please PM me.

EDIT: Did a quick update to the code.

HellReborn

thanks dude.

for the people who use the Wii Remote like my self, can we get a code for the On the Fly Character Modifier

and how is the switching like Zelda/Sheik coming along?

OMG that is AMAZING!! kk

Here is a revision of my code for those who are using Krisan Thyme's On the Fly Character Modifier.

284DE4B0 000001C4
4A000000 90180F08
10000033 000000XX
10000034 000000YY
E0000000 80008000
284DE4B0 000001A4
4A000000 90180F08
10000033 00000000
10000034 00000000
E0000000 80008000

XX is Stage ID
YY is Sub Stage ID

L + A + Down = Activates the code (Hold while loading).
R + A + Down = Deactivates the code (Press when level has loaded).

The rules of using this code are the same as the last, but this code is compatable with the On the Fly Character Modifier, using the two unused variables.

Enjoy! :irule:

hey, nice! but what does it actually really do? i'm pretty confused there. so it stops brawl matches from freezing or something?and what's a sub stage? custom stages? how do we get the ID then?

Has anyone had any luck with the unlimeted up-B, and jump cheats? The don't seem to work for me.

Quote from: Warchamp7;1833If you do this with normal characters, does it play their intro animation or just spawn them from the top

If it plays their intro, this could have some interesting video applications (Though even if it doesn't, it still has some useful applications)

Also, just got back from my buddies and went through a few tests of Heinermann's color overlay code
(Too lazy to post the other 6 player codes :P)
Color Overlay (P1)
4A000000 90180FB8
1000000A 000000XX
E0000000 80008000

Before going to my friends, I knew that 04 was black and 05 was cyan. Heres some small test results

04 is COMPLETELY black, just like the Dark Link event.

05 Strong cyan tint, not completely solid color but close

01 was the characters lightened color (As if two people picked the same character color)
02 did nothing as far as I could tell
03 was the characters darkened color (Again like the light thing)
06 I didn't try
07 did nothing as far as I could tell

Could anyone give me just a full list of possible overlay colors by chance?

Also, don't give alloys the emerald color lmao
(I had emerald on player 3 and went to Multi Man, as soon as an alloy spawned in the 3rd slot I got the Squealing Death Wii) :lol

Edit: Also, what is Mario 32?
It did not load any of the intros when i used the code mid-game, it just spawned me exactly where i had disappeared which if it was on the ground was on the ground so it was like a brand new character only i never died only disappeared (character logo too) oh and it doesn't work for replays, even if you have the same code on at the time of the replay 0.o....

also i have been messing with the color overlays myself. sofar i have gotten upto about 09 or 0A from 00.

00 = None (default) overrides game's preset color overlay if any
01 = very light tint
02 = light tint
03 = dark tint
04 = black
05 = cyan
06 = None
07 = None
08 = (can't make out good enough to be able to tell if its anything)
09 = (can't make out good enough to be able to tell if its anything)

^^ i'm using my wii in progressive wide-screen picture mode (highest definition for wii)
all tests except for 08 and 09 were done with characters at 16x height (for better viewing) and 2 kirbys side by side with costume modifier set to Purple kirby for better viewing. (2 kirby's side by side same color for comparison + dark shade for better distinction)

only reasong 08 and 09 aren't is cuz i got lazy and just did them on computers... i tried zooming in, but my old method has proved much more useful.

for me they've worked fine as long as they have not been set to a button activator. 0.o

Well, this is just fantastic. While I was playing, my Wii started making a really loud noise. So I shut my game off and pulled it out of the Wii.

My Wii scratched the ****ing disk.

This better be the cheats' fault and not the Wii's. I'm probably logically wrong, though. I mean, it used to make that sound before when I was playing Brawl. Just not that loud.

Yea my wii whenever it gets a huge error and crashes it stops the wii game as fast as it can, usually causing circular scratches which are the worst kind :( anyways i've actually had it spit the game halfway out (little less than when you hit eject button and leave disk there) it's probably really bad for it...

GrandMasterJimmy

It was your wii's fault. Cheats don't magically make your system scratch disks. It's probably going to scratch any game you try.

Nuke

No cheat code can ever damage your hardware, all it does is edit memory locations. Also stop swearing please, regardless of if its masked or not, there maybe minors on the forum.

I've tried the Unlimited Up+B code and it works, but I'm trying to figure out why the Unlimited Jumps won't work.

EDIT: Lucario, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Ike or Sonic's Up+B dosn't seem to be unlimited, but I now know that Marth's is insane for combos.
EDITEDIT: The Unlimited Jump works for Snake, but ending the game will result in the Wii Screeching Freeze >.<
