Normally, on many other RPGs, when you move a step, the value increases and when you stop, the value stops, then the value resets to 0 after a battle, but it doesn't seem like the case in this game

Yeah, that sounds right and I was doing that but not getting anywhere. Thanks for the Exp code,I was just plugging in values in the character slots, didnt think about looking for an increase after a battle...duh...

BTW,it would be nice if Wiird could actually record video besides just screen shots but that would probably make the game really laggy.....how did you do yours? Just a camera in front of the TV?

g6flavor

Yeah, just put a camera or camcorder in front of the TV. That's the un-professional way of doing it when you don't have access to a video capture card :)

Btw, I just posted my codes into the Code Database, might as well post yours in there, too.

Romaap

You can always try to connect your wii with a dvd-recorder, mine has a scart-in.
So I can just connect my wii with the recorder and record it, then put the dvd in my pc and copy it :)

g6flavor your NO RANDOM BATTLE code doesnt seem to be working and its also causing my game to crash
It works fine on my Main story and Rydia's story, so far no crash.
Are you sure that you're not using those in battle codes along with the no random battle code? Those In Battle codes are meant to crash the game or maybe even your Overworld Speed code.

btw, watch the above Video..the No Random Battle is effect, noticed that I only fought 2 battles (turned off the code once of course) in the whole cave

You're right, althought it won't crash the game, the No Random Battle code doesn't work after Rydia leaves the Cave..

The new code seems to be working...I started the Yang Story and it seems to be working alright so far and now someone has the "Always Full Meter" codes now also..I still dont know how you figured the random battles codes becuase in the memory viewer I didnt see anything happening at address 80020318,without the code it just stayed on 60000000 and never changed unless I just didnt see it flip over real quick and go back.....

Try to check the address before you applied the code ;)
Its an ASM code, it probably "deletes" the code that writes a value to another address.
