Update:!!!

Use 4 letter codes for VC games:

GGGG - RRRRRR
6 letters for Wii games

The last two letters are normally the publisher code.. like 08 for Capcom, 01 for Nintendo, 8P for SEGA etc.. for VC games.. this seems unavailible. Thanks James!

I've redesigned the db to allow for the 4 character ID's. (and I enforce the system code [1st character] aswell)

If it starts with R, 6 characters (Wii game). Otherwise it's 4.

Go for it guys!

wow awsome james :D thnx

nvm

James0x57

nvm?
Suggestions/Requests more than welcome. ;p

OH, and I kinda took the super easy way out- to edit codes you have to enter the game ID. It goes straight to the administration for them though.. I dunno what people will think but I was just trying to get something up quickly that worked. lol Better than selecting a system, region, then letter though, I think. ^_^

when i was enterting an ID to edit the codes i clicked enter and not Click here so it made me login again

Unfortunately there is at least one exception to that; the Monster Hunter 3-Tri Demo disc has a game ID of DMHJ08.  So while it is probably okay to enforce 6 letters for any ID that starts with R, game IDs that don't start with R may or may not be for a Wii disc.

freakin sweet, thanks James0x57!!

Romaap

It looks great, thanks :D

But it would be great to have something like List All, so it lists all the games in that channel (console).
And when you click on a channel it lists all recent updates in that channel only.
And i was thinking about search (and sort by username?) and something that shows how many views that game has, but these are merely suggestions. dont add this if you don't want to ;)

Fixed, pressing enter is now the same as clicking the link. :)

Fixed! (Though I didn't test adding a new game yet, it should work just fine too)

These are the only two in the database that start with D:

The Region Code for 'X' is listed as "not real" but it's used quite frequently...

and look at the lot here:

You can list all now.

I think that the updates should include all channels at all times.. Any other opinions on this?

The search by username is something I've been thinking about doing since the database was still an idea. It's really not hard, I just haven't done it yet. lol (I was just thinking to list and link to all the games they've hacked without going beyond that) Sound cool?

And thanks for all the "thank you"s :)

ssbbdude

yay thanks for the updates james :D

Nuke

On Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (VC) I made a custom codelist and I put it in codes on the root of my SD card, but in Gecko OS (newest version) It says "No SD Codes found." The region I'm using for the game is USA and the game ID that I put in the code manager was NACE01. Help would be appriciated.  :)

Romaap

The .gct files shouldnt be in the root of your SD card, put them in SD:\codes
