Contra Rebirth (U) WiIWare doesn't seem to work with Gecko 1.9.2, are there any fix for it?

I'm having issue with Gecko OS 1.9.2 and rebooter: it doesn't show up on menu. I managed to run rebooter and hooking successfully using Gecko OS 1.9.1 and selecting Rebooter 4 times in a row (GXDraw & Load debug menu).

its because of using newer version of cIOSCORP that patch all the IOS's to use 249. You just need a IOS 36 with trucha bug enabled (no cIOS)

I think it's because Gecko OS 1.9.2 started to use IOS249 and disables the rebooter when using that, because of the ES_Identify bug. But there's a workaround for that bug in the svn version.

cioscorp does not patch IOSes to use IOS249(whatever that should mean). It patches and replaces ALL nintendo IOS. And for the rebooter you need an IOS with ES_Idenitfy bug, it should work even without trucha bug. If you have IOS249, that needs to have the ES_Idenitfy bug, if you don't have IOS249, then IOS36 has to have it.

Brilliant! It worked flawlessly.

EDIT: It works fine on channels and rebooter but game produce a dump exception using all hooks.

But If I use Gecko 1.9.2

It always loads in Black & White

I have changed all the modes for Video - like Pal60hz

I know I can't use Pal 50 on a NTSC TV.

Everything is Default

So it would work like the Wii Disc Menu.

i have wii PAL 3.2

preloader 2.9 installed

gecko 1.9.2 installed

backup launcher 0.3 gamma

cios rev 7 installed..which is needed forbackup launcher to work..



problem is i am trying to play back ups threw gecko with ossleephook but it says not a wii or GC disc???

also should i be able to play back ups threw the original disc channel with preloader? When i do it says disc error or invalid disc(cant remember now).

i was told you can and if i get it working gecko will also work??

please help av wasted 2 days messing about

Channel launching only works if Gecko can use IOS249 or and old IOS36. You can get an old IOS36 with DopIOS! However, your Wii will most likely update it with new games!

still getting error 002 with r12 when i run contra rebirth. I give up.

Gecko OS can't pause correctly Drift Mania (PAL). When I un-pause the game it will freeze or it will un-pause the game not at the last screenshot. I think it's because Drift Mania uses 'time base' instruction (mftb/mfbtu). Is there a way to pause/un-pause timer?
