Does the Allow Replay Longer than 3 Minutes work online? And if so, how long DOES the replay last? As long as you play?

Uhhm.. I just put the code on, and it worked, BUT when I saved it it doesn't show up in my Vault.. o.O

I don't know what went wrong but, I've used it online and saved roughly 15 replays and ALL of them showed up. Did you save them in your SD Card without realizing it? You may have, check them. OR, if you're using the old Ocarina, they're probably the first ones you should see due to the date that Ocarina sets it to (1/1/2000). Download Gecko OS 1.07b if you want access to the SD Card and the date change problems fixed.

This isn't really asking for help, but I wouldn't know where else to post ideas.

I'm going to my friend's house on Saturday to show him some of the hacks from Ocarina. Unfortunately, he doesn't have an SD card reader on his comp. You'd imagine that the codes I can show him are limited because the GCT files can only handle 256 lines(right?). Well recently, I came across this app called SD explorer for the homebrew channel that allows you to move, rename, or delete files on the SD card directly on the Wii. It does not, however, allow you to open any of the files, therefore, you'd not be able to access Wii code manager and edit the codes. Then, I thought,"what about making multiple GCT files" and putting them in the codes folder when you want to use them. However, when you press export on the Wii code manager program, it replaces the one that's already there disallowing you to make different and multiple "code files". So I renamed the old one and pressed export again. As I thought, the new GCT did not replace the one I renamed. Then, I went back over to the Wii; Ocarina does not see the code file unless it's named exactly 'RSBE01.GCT'(probably obvious, but it's good to know). So I named a few 'super.GCT', 'super2.GCT', 'super3.GCT', etc. for the super codes, another 'basic.GCT' for codes that don't affect gameplay at all(i.e. stage editor hax, unlimited VC time, free roam camera), and a bunch of other ones like color, size, gravity, and power modifiers that you wouldn't want to be turned on all the time. As you can see, it's pretty limited because you can only make preset mixtures of codes rather than turning on individual ones, but it at least eliminates having to go to the computer for a simple code switch and solves my problem. I was hoping some of you can up with ideas to make this procedure more efficient.

Name them all the same thing(RSBE01.gct) but when you hit export you click store to file (above the store to sd card thing) then put them in seperate folder's on you SD card

I recently downloaded GeckoOS, I got it to work almost perfectly. But it froze my system several times.(I mean, like I tried to access Brawl normally, and it froze, it is working now though)
For some reason, I did a 4 minute match when I was playing Brawl normally, and I pressed the Replay button out of curiosity... and it worked! O_o Do some codes stay in effect without accessing the game through Ocarina and GeckoOS?!

When I use the item mod and make the super scope shoot a trophy or food, it'll always be a Mario trophy/Apple. Is there any way to change this?

Also, something cool I noticed. To get things like Mario's warp pipe to appear all the time when using the "Taunts are entrances" code just replaces intros with standing and make P1 and P2/P3/P4 the same character. Objects like Arwings and Warp Pipes will always appear if you taunt with P2/P3/P4. Don't try it with P1 though since it'll only appear once.

I never get an answer so I'm reposting this.

No... they shouldn't. I don't believe that this can happen at all, it shouldn't, I don't believe you to be honest. All codes (except the My Music Modifier) are never permanent and can never become permanent unless they're made so.

QuoteYeah but Gecko OS+Ocarina is alot more glitchy. =/

Sure, it is. And for the past ohhh... two weeks I've been using it it's been freezing like hell, amirite? [/sarcasm] It's not more glitchy... it's the same thing as if you were to use Ocarina, the only changes made to Ocarina was the date and the SD Card access.

While 1.07 is in its early stages, the Ocarina side should be fine.

Hippochinfat

I've downloaded and used Gecko OS 1.07 but I really haven't noticed much of a difference. Am I able to add codes mid game? And if so, how?

No, the difference lies in the date being correct and being able to save things to the SD Card for games like Brawl.
